Couldn't see the beach. Had to kill a few waterbugs. Felt like something was biting us in the bed

The internet service was unacceptable. Half the time you couldn't use your phone eventhough it said it was connected. Also, we were at the farthest end of the facility eventhough it was mostly empty and I requested the front. I could understand if it was full.

The pool and beach access

The price - when I originally booked the trip it was supposed to be $437, but when I checked out it jumped to $628. I tried to figure out what was wrong, but was unable. I emailed Booking.com but received no reply. The original price was reasonable since it was past the season and it was in my budget. The almost $200 increase put a damper on my vacation. I kept hoping that it was a computer mistake, but my credit card has been charged $628.01. I am extremely disappointed and I doubt that we will return to A Place at the Beach or use Booking.com in the future. If I can't trust a service, then I can't use it.

We have stayed here many times through the years and it is always a lovely experience. The pool is great - my kids (now adults) still really enjoy the slide. The beach is beautiful and we enjoyed adding to our memories of just being at the beach.

Finding the rooms was a hustle. Moving our stuff and finding the elevator was hard.

Was not able to receive service in the room and none of us could properly connect to the wifi... outside of the room, the service was still not very strong. Also, wish that the rooms were a little brighter.

Amenities were great, the room provided more than expected and was very spacious.

My only issue was that the elevators and halls were extremely hot. They could benefit from some exhaust fans.

The property requires you to wear wristbands at all times for each member of the family. I wore the kids bands on me since they would lose them. I had no issue with wearing the bands but the “Security Guard” was over the top with checking people constantly to see if they were wearing them. We always had ours on but were asked multiple times if we were wearing them when they were easily able to be seen. The security guard was stopping everyone Saturday night requiring people to show him. One older couple got so upset by his demeanor they gathered their luggage from their room and left. I understand rules but train your staff to look for the bands and only question when they cannot be seen.

The amenities were wonderful! Right on the beach, great boardwalk and gazebo with swing overlooking the dunes and ocean. The outdoor pool and playground is amazing for kiddos with a gradual entrance and water slides.

Did not know they were doing construction right on the beach in front of resort so we were unable to do our daily walks.

The deck by the spray off area gets really slippery, but signs are posted.

The location is wonderful! The walkway through the dunes is AMAZING! Takes you right to thd beach. Love the pool and the property!
