Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is noisy due to the elevated train going by all night. The finishes were very basic and the vinyl flooring was glued properly to the floor so it made noise when we walked on it in the middle of the night, which made getting a good night's sleep even more difficult between the trains and the flooring.
The hotel is clean and modern. The public areas are very nice. The eating facilities are beautiful and the food was excellent for a tapas place, which was all that we needed.

That they charged incidental fees and other items and was pretty confused about certain charges until someone finally explained it thoroughly. And the travel fees charged $25 per day and then getting a credit to use, was weird too.

Breakfast was the same during my 6-night stay and the cleanliness of the room could have been a lot better, the air conditioning did make a lot of noise and the blackout never shut completely.
The hotel is located near Brickell City Center, which has plenty of restaurants and things to do. The area around the hotel felt safe, with supermarkets, pharmacies, shopping, and dining within walking distance. The gym is well equipped.

We were told there was going to be live music at the pool and there was no music. The process with valet parking was a little stressful. We had to wait quite awhile to bring us our car after checking out. They only had 1 person working at that time.
The front desk staff was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and located in walking distance to everything.

The ac is very loud.

I was charged extra money on my bank account after checking out. No idea why. I contacted hotel but as of now no one replied. Very disappointing

Gym is too small for a hotel this size (wich is also in a shared building with Element hotel).
Great location in Brickell area. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and banks if needed. Nice and new hotel with friendly staff. Room size above norm for this kind of hotel.

The Air conditioner was noisy and despite I turn it off it came back every time
Nice location, very close to Brickell City Center and many restaurants in the zone. Nice staff that helped me with my Amazon packages.

Two days after I checked out my card was charged and amount from the hotel without my permission and they haven’t informed me which has unacceptable, and so many unreasonable charges when checking out as well, even though this made the experience of the hotel from a 10 to 4

That pool was only allowed to be used for 15 minutes. And I did not like $25 daily fee. I did not know what to use my $25 credit for and ended up losing it. Also did not like that heat would turn off at night and we woke up every morning in a cold room.
Hotel smelled very nice and bedding was clean.

The air conditioning was quite noisy, had to switch it off. Maintenance guys couldn’t do anything

Would have been an excellent trip but the biggest down side was room service cleaning the room and then failing to replace the towels and wash cloths, we reached back in late and after efforts of calling the front desk for towels and wash cloths both in the night and morning we’ve still yet to get them. We just happened to see someone cleaning another room on the floor and was able to get what we needed. Wasn’t the first time this has happened, our previous stay we had requested toilet paper and they didn’t bring it until about an hour later

a) During my 5 night stay, in two ocassions the room was not made by 6 pm. although I have been out almost all day. I had to ask the front desk for the room to be cleaned at that hour. b)The breakfast buffet only had the option of hard eggs. I had the breakfast included in the booking rate and front desk did not advice we had to have paper tickets to show we had breakfast included. Not a good system. Several guest had problems undestanding the paper ticket system. c) Although I booked payment in hotel, my credit card was charged the whole amount in advance before arrival ( not good).

Valley parking kind of complicated additional charge and only parking option. Believe was 75 dollars a night.
