Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaMight need a mattress upgrade for the fold out couch.
The location was very convenient. Bus stop straight opposite or around the corner. Not too far to shops, a nice park and the beach. Very well equipped and clean apartment with good cooking facilities. Entertaining view from the balcony onto Kuhio Ave. with very interesting looking cars, wheelies by motorbike riders and all kinds of different wheeled transport systems. Quiet enough once the balcony door is closed. Very nice pool and gym. The lobby smells really nice, too. Laundry facilities available.

AustraliaWe were invited from new friends in the hotel section to the welcome parties they have at the hotel on certain nights but because we were booked in the ABnB part, we weren’t allowed , but all good, no worries.
What a Gem of a place, it was absolutely perfect, we couldn’t ask for anything more, it was so clean and everything you needed, especially having the full kitchen to cook anything. We loved sitting on the veranda eating our cooked breakfast watching the action below on the street front. The wifi was great as well as the amenities of the pool & gym, also bbq area. Walking distance to beach/ shopping and buses at your doorstep, short walk to Hilton Lagoon, especially to watch fireworks on Friday nights. Staff were amazing and were so helpful. We loved this place so much, it will be our go to from now on, can’t wait to go back…

AustraliaNo light blockout courtains at all. Nights are a bit bright from the street, and if you wanna have a nap during daytime, you struggle to have a shut eye.
Location was good, when you find your way around you can easily find the shortcuts to the attractions of the location. The room was very good and clean for a short holiday, everything in the bathroom and kitchen was provided. The host was very communicative, any issues were addressed instantly through our inquiry via Booking. Highly recommend the place for future holidaymakers. Pool was warm and not crowded, which was good.

Amazing clean owner. Zero complains about the cleanness. Not going to take a star out of the review but the lighting is too dim in the room. Other than that great place.

MexicoThat we stayed only one week ...
Absolutely everything is wonderful! The studio is cozy, with all imaginable amenities, nice terrasse with mountain views and few blocks from Waikiki beach. There's the ABC store across the park, so cooking is easy. A couple extra blocks you find food trucks of every kind, and pizzeria downstairs on the left, inside the Aloha store at the gas station. Across the park bus #13 connects you to the Ala Moana Mall and there you can transfer to bus #60 to go around the island if planning a visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center or the Kaneohe Sandbar. The swimming pool on the 1st floor is beautiful, specially from noon onwards that is refreshing with the intense Hawaiian Sun, and after spending the morning on the beach surfing or simply enjoying the gentle waves and sand of the area. We enjoyed so much the coffe and tea provided by our wonderful host. All in all is the best choice to stay in Oahu if you want to be at a cozy and luxurious spot at a great price. This is our 5th visit to the islands, either flying specifically there or disembarking from cruises, and having stayed at different hotels, this is definitely the most memorable and enjoyable of all our experiences. Thank you for the hospitality and care if the host, we can't wait to be back soon!

New ZealandThe second bed was a sofa bed with poor springs that sag in the middle and creaks with every movement. Inadequate lighting to be able to read anything at night. Inadequate toiletries when you have two people showering and washing hair everyday for a week.
Good location - near walking distance to shops and beach.

ChinaI completely agree with another review by Michel from Belgium. The 3-star hotel is actually not that bad, but the location on the map was deceptive and shows a wrong location much closer to the beach than it is. We too have to drag our luggage running around many places and ask several people and eventually find the hotel. WHY? WHY? WHY did they think this is a good idea to trick their customers?
