We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesLots of “activity” going on in and around the hotel. pretty uncomfortable especially since we have little ones. Also, we only stayed one night and the whole reason we booked this place was for the pool and it was not in service when we arrived. I couldn’t cancel cause it was through Booking and non-refundable so we just stuck it out. I would not stay here again.

United StatesSeveral things needed repaired or replaced.The bathroom tub faucet was very loose. It was hard to gauge hot from cold. The bathroom door had two holes in it. The curtain was torn. The comforter was discolored and a sheet was on top of it to cover the discoloring. I was concerned about the back of the motel on the bottom floor We stayed at the back on the second floor. There were some seedy people there. We wound up parking out front and entering up front by the pool to go to our room. We killed some time by going to a movie. We got back just in time to lock ourselves in our room.
The room was clean. When we walked in it did not have an odor. The bed mattress was roomy and comfortable. The free breakfast was a bonus. The outdoor pool looked nice but it was too cool to use it. The staff was very friendly.

Netherlandsthe swimming pool was dirty, also we felt a little bit unsafe with parking the car there. there where a lot of people hanging around the hotel and used drugs. we do not have a bad experience with them, but it makes us a little uncomfortable to go outside the room when it is dark.

And they say that they shred the copies later, but who knows. Can you say, “Identity Theft” ?? I guess at least you don’t have to give them your Social Security Number.

United StatesI had to microwave my breakfast(eggs, sausage frozen) that was advertised as a hot breakfast. The pillows all of the linens are white made it incredibly hard to get my deposit back having purple hair. Being worried about this made it difficult to sleep.

United StatesYou have to be careful when making a reservation if they ask you for a deposit due 100 and 150 dollars because more than 4 people gave the deposit during my stay and none received it back. and they were not given receipts either. The only proof was the cameras and they only go back two weeks. Many people did not receive their deposit back, all hard-working Latino people who were there for work, in other words, they were blatantly scammed. and when you go to complain, they tell you that without a receipt they cannot return it to you and how can you have the receipt if they never gave it to you? Whose fault is it? The client's for not receiving the receipt or the worker for not providing it? I think the worker is the one who is informed of how to proceed since it is their job and they have the necessary knowledge that the client ignores. In short, ask for a receipt everywhere you go for everything you pay for.
