Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Hong KongThe A/C can be noisy at night, but i guess you would get used to it. There’s no sitting area in the room, was wanting to do a quick take out meal but then they have a common area on 2/F that is open for their guests.
Excellent location, walking distance to everything. Clean and tidy, staff are very helpful and friendly.

PortugalThere should be a little more shelves and hanging storage in the rooms. Bar for coffee is a bit expensive.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Arlo Nomad in New York City, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. While the standard rooms are on the smaller side, they are exceptionally comfortable and well-designed, making efficient use of the space. The chic, modern decor adds to the charm, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. One slight drawback is the limited storage space, but it's a minor inconvenience when you consider the hotel's superb location. Nestled in the heart of Manhattan, the Arlo Nomad offers easy access to some of the city's most iconic sights and bustling hotspots, making it an ideal base for exploring. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and friendly, thanks to the welcoming staff who go out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable stay. The bustling lobby and communal areas provide a great space to relax and meet fellow travellers. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Arlo Nomad and am already looking forward to my next visit. It's definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in NYC.

We paid for the upgraded sky room and the view was amazing. The hotel is located 1 minute from the 5th avenue: perfect location

United KingdomOur initial room was close to the elevator and was noisy. The team did move us to a quieter room after our first night but I would caution people booking a king size room that elevator noise may be an issue.
The team at the hotel were outstanding. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. Rooftop terrace is perfect for a quiet drink with great views. We didn’t use the coffee lounge or the diner but they both looked good.

AustraliaWhilst most staff were friendly, the building is a little old and run down (hallways, elevators) and the elevators can take a long time. I had poor service from the barista downstairs and wouldn’t bother getting a coffee there unfortunately.
I loved my queen sky room! I was on the 20 something floor with a fantastic view and I could see the Empire State Building from my bed! The rooftop was accessible but off season nothing open, but this made for perfect sunsets (when it wasn’t raining) and almost 360 views of Manhattan ! Magical. The room was bigger than I expected and perfect for one person, there was room for my luggage, and I think would be reasonable for two people. The bed was very comfortable.

SwitzerlandSmall rooms not unusual in NY, floors could be warmed up with a bit of carpeting and yes you may have to wait a few min's for the elevator but these are hardly worth mentioning. Honestly, everything about the stay was great!
Great view and location, walkable to all mid-town sights and great neighborhoods to explore. Korea town has some of NY's best food destinations, Flatiron and NoLita just nearby, or walk over to UN, Times Square, Rockefeller etc. Rooms were very comfortable including the beds. I was there on business and the library/common work space areas was gorgeous - an ideal spot between meetings. I had a very early (pre-dawn) meeting and the staff very kindly made me a cup of tea and opened up the library for me. Great service!
