Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaTo go to South Beach or down town, taking the buses or trains is quite necessary but there are many bus option's
Spacious kitchen, clean and well-equipped. Ample kitchen tops and sitting area. A sitting area in the common area to relax and socialize. It is like a bungalow fenced off with privacy. AC on all the time, hot water always working. Very well maintained property. The staff, especially Jeff, the manager, was professional and helpful. Short walk to Little Havana. I could take short walks to bus stops to catch the buses/trains sightseeing in Miami. I would pay a little extra above those other cheaper hostels to have peace of mind here.

GermanyThe dorms don't have windows, so there is no natural daylight and no fresh air. The only way to get fresh air in that tiny space is trough the toilet window which is very small. And it means your roommates have to leave the restroom door open which some of them didn't do. When I opened the door to catch fresh air the staff came immediately and closed it. They don't like that. The door lock is very loud and got me up multiple times even with earplugs. And it's connected to a plug which flashes at night which can be really annoying during sleep. A terribly disrespectful roommate made my sleep worse. I actually liked that place but I haven't got any sleep at night.
I really liked how much love they put in the interior design. I believe the beds were handmade and very unique. I liked the outside area a lot and the fact, that it is a very quiet place. The outside area is very comfortable to hang out. The kitchen is big. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is in walking distance to the touristic little Havana walking street.

United KingdomBeds are too comfy I slept in everyday ahhaha - Nothing was bad
Firstly from the arrival the staff was very lovely; some live on site as cleaners etc and even they were really lovely. From when you walk in it is so well decorated and just stunning; the ambience and feel makes you feel very on holiday. The beds (being wooden) are so much more better than metal bunk frames, I slept well every night and particular love that they boarded off so it’s your own private bed. I also like the rules, it keeps the hostel very safe and comfortable; as a quiet solo traveller I enjoyed the idea of rules cause it makes for a good quiet recharge space after a long day out. All the facilities were easy access and the area felt safe despite Miami having a bad rep for safety. The manager was an absolute delight; made me feel cared for just in presence and the employees were wholesome.

United StatesOn one side of the houses is the swimming pool with deck. On the other are tables, chairs and a picnic table to eat outside the kitchen. Lots of room outside especially for 2 large hammocks under the shade tree.

United StatesThe best bang for your buck! The location is excellent, there's plenty of public transportation that takes you to Brickle and close to the airport. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars in Calle 8 (Little Havana). All the spaces are cleaned (Kitchen, Bathrooms, Dorm) and the hostel is quiet , so you can get work done and have great sleep.

United StatesWhen I arrived, Shanon, friendly receptionist with beautiful smile greeted me and showed me facilities. Jeff with Keila's help is making sure that everything is running smoothly and everyone feels safe and comfortable. Shane and James are doing great job with maintenance and cleaning. Even though it's not Miami beach or downtown, I personally liked the location, there's a famous calle 8 street 10min walk from hostel, and there's a bus station 2min away. Also, neighborhood is full of enthusiastic roosters and little chickens following their moms.

CanadaI respect the rule not allowing alcohol but being on holiday I wouldn’t choose it for an extended stay.
It was very clean and there were great amenities (kitchen and washrooms/showers). It made for an affordable night in Miami.
