it was dirty (mouse poo in the kitchen shelfs!, the fridge was dirty, blankets had hair from other guests in them), incredibly loud (front door was always beebing, people coming/going never closing the front door quietly), there was CCTV directed onto the shower area (we did not feel safe showering), the AC was too cold. Also I was contacted by regular text message which I didnt agree to.

I entered a small room with loud snorers and constantly one of them farting. The bed was super bumpy and uncomfortable that gave me a bad backache. The shower was so tiny barely a person could shower and there was no privacy as the glass door of the shower is next to the yard door where everyone comes and go and you need to grab your towel and clothes in front of them. I literally escaped the place and they never give me back my money. I hate booking website for allowing such misinformation and misleading advertising for this place be on their website. Do not trust the cute yard photos.

The staff is amazing and very accommodating. We felt safe, supported, and the hostel is very pleasant. This is the cleanest and nicest hostel I have been to and I have traveled a lot in the US and outside of the US. It’s very affordable. I will definitely be booking with them when I return to Miami.

The staff threatened me and the police was called

I need my money back or I will officially make a police report. The police was called to this property because the staff approached me to intimate me with a weapon.

Staff was a disappointment! The hostel is in a remote neighborhood, a poor place. I mentioned to the staff that there was a homeless person sleeping in front of the hostel and he replied: “what’s the problem?” I had to explain to him the difficulty of being a woman, arriving at night alone, in a remote neighborhood, and being able to be sex** abused by homeless.

Staff was a disappointment! The hostel is in a remote neighborhood, a poor place. I mentioned to the staff that there was a homeless person in front of the hostel sleeping in his car, and he replied: “what’s the problem?” I had to explain to him the difficulty of being a woman, arriving at night alone, in a remote neighborhood, and being able to be sexually assaulted by someone who is camped in front of the hostel. The second experience: there were objects for guests to use in the kitchen. I used a thermos bottle and the staff was extremely rude saying: “this bottle belongs to a guest. If it’s not yours, don’t take it!” I told him that the bottle was in the sink and unmarked, so I thought I could use it. he was very rude and hostile the entire time I was there.

Security: there was one guy sleeping in the garden around 6PM and he was still there at 4AM, when I left to the airport. I also heard weird nose during the night. Rooms had no key to close. There was staff on site, although I could text with the host. There were no enough power outlet, no shower gel, lockers were too small to store medium size staff, like a backpack.

Really nice and clean hostel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We could enjoy jacuzzi in the evening after long walks. We could also store our suitcases thanks to Chris. Claudio was very friendly too, he gave us tips for dinner in this neighbourhood. Its very well decorated hostel and its close to Santa Clara stop, so we were in few minutes in the downtown. I can recommend it to all travellers.

Nothing really (I’ve stayed there before). Just remember it is a hostel not a hotel!

Easy to reach by metro from the airport, Amtrak or Tri-Rail, or to use as a base to visit downtown Miami etc.. Hostel is 10 mins walk from metro station Allapattah. Chris’s very helpful, other guests’re fine (I stayed in the 6-man dorm). No problems with the neighborhood, even when dark and with luggage. Hostel is very well laid out with the different guest rooms and both indoor & outdoor communal areas. See my other feedback for more information (if you can).

There is not one thing I didn’t like. It’s beautiful, it’s perfect and amazing. Needs a smoking section, but that’s ok. It prompted me to quit smoking.

Nothing really, it was as expected. (also, snoring roommates isn’t the hostel’s fault - and you soon get used to it!) I suppose you could say that the store and gas station closest to the hostel sell a limited range of products but, again, that’s not the hostel’s fault.

Chris was very helpful both before and during my stay. Hostel is easy & safe to access on foot from the metro. For the price, it’s excellent value for money. No problems sleeping in a dorm with 4 complete strangers (though they might snore!). However, it’s hostel, so facilities are obviously basic, which may not be for everybody, and of course it’s not in downtown Miami or on Miami Beach or but if you understand and accept that, you won’t regret staying here. I understand 100% why it has such high feedback!!! This’s why I chose to stay there and I wasn’t disappointed in any way!
