I didn’t like the parking that was a block over where you have to walk in the elements across a busy street and I didn’t like the fact my room was outdated. The carpet was smelly. The bathroom was dirty with hair. Shower was broken and then the overnight staff front desk, lady Was very rude

I love how clean the resort is, the staff is so pleasant and comforting and will do anything to accommodate my stay. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and vow to always return. Definitely my go to spot for when we come to Myrtle Beach. Love this facility

Made the mistake of booking with third party instead if the main website. The main booking website was offering a summer deal and included other benefits you can't get through 3rd party booking. Hotel feels like you are in a dorm in college needs updated badly. Thing were dirty, rusty, and broke in our room. We felt housekeeping could have done a better job, I had to go ask for clean sheets as ours had stains on them when we checked in. The TV sucked, did not have the correct controller for it to work properly, we brought our switch, hooked it to the TV, and watched Hulu from there. The elevators were dirty but that's expected with a hotel when it's busy and people use it when wet from the pool.  The lazy river floats were mainly for kids, adults do not fit in the tubes comfortably.The AC would not stay cool we ended up waking up 2/4 nights with the room temp on 78, thank goodness we brought our own fan. We stayed in 1709B so I wonder if the temp is connected to 1709A. It is more family orientated then couple orientated. Starbucks is right on the main floor but almost double the price of Starbucks in other places.

Easy check in and check out, staff was friendly. Hotel is close to beach, pier, and can walk along the boardwalk by the ocean and look at shops. Parking garage is close to the hotel, plus you can enter and exit whenever you want with your room key. If you ask for something at the desk they will give it to you. ie: if you need more towels they can give it to you right then so you don't have to wait till housekeeping gets around to your room. Elevators weren't too bad just one of the days one set of elevators were broken, once in the hotel and once in the parking garage. If you plan your day according to when it's busy and not the elevators are not a long wait. Italian ice cart by the pool is awesome, but cash only fyi. Fireworks during the summer on Weds at 9p at the pier. We heard a loud boom and then looked outside and it was really cool. We were in the ocean view not ocean front so we got a good view of the pier with fireworks. Walked the beach a few times, it was filled with shells we picked up to bring home. We recommend bringing a scoop or something if you want to dig for shells and a bag to take them home. Activities: Ripley Aquarium is really cool a lot of interactive activities for adults and children. Paula Deen's was good, we have ate there in TN and it was just as good. We sat by the window which was a beautiful view of the water. FYI We recommend making reservations. Broadway on the Beach is filled with various shops, food, and stores. Reminds me of The Island in TN. We attended the Pirates show and dinner, which was a great show and the food was pretty good. There are plenty of beach shops to go to, the Tanger outlet mall is only about 15-20 min drive. We did the Mt. Alanticus golf course and it was a blast, we recommend going when it isn't so hot outside as there is a lot of steps and it is a big course, but one of our favorites we have experienced.

The hotel is old and can use an update... because of that, the room didn't feel as comfortable as it should. The staff do great job of upkeep, but that only goes so far. Oh, and the elevators situation needs adressing.

The grounds and facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the close proximity to the beach is awesome.. it's just steps away. Being right on the boardwalk is also a plus.

I booked an ocean front room and I recieved a side view of the ocean that you couldn't enjoy. Asked Patrick at the front desk if they had a room with a ocean front view and he said no. I checked the website and Bayview did have one for the dates we werestaying, he lied to me and that is very unacceptable to me! But I booked a front view and never received one. The pool room was not what I expected. The beds were not comfortable to me.

Room was not clean Carpets were very outdated and stained Cabinets were broken, warped, stained or in other forms of disrepair Room reeked of weed when we arrived Elevators worked sometimes other times a very long wait. Didn't feel super safe or secure. None of the doors that required keys to enter were ever locked(garage, pool, stairs)

After driving 16 hours and arriving here, anticipating a terrific time.....THEN GETTING THIS ROOM WAS HORRIBLE. I tried to upgrade or get a better room... was told they had nothing available. Stuff between a rock and. Hard placeThe room had no view of the ocean.(was stated in booking) Sliding door was broke, the phone didn't work, (wasent even a Phone jack in the room to be plugged into), no hot water in bathroom, the bathroom vent for showering didn't work

The carpet was old and damp from water moisture, and smelled like mildew. The AC wasn’t working, and the room was hot as hell. The moisture from the Ocean, kept the bathroom floor wet all the time. I had to keep towels on the floor, to walk on. The ceiling had mold, that was painted over. The microwave and refrigerator were old, and the refrigerator froze my salads and bottled water. The room was unacceptable. I couldn’t wait to check out.

The location of the hotel was fine. The ocean front balcony was very nice. I enjoyed sitting on it, watching the beach goers.

I was disappointed with all the hair that was all over the bath, was about to shower only to find a razor and hair... I am a housekeeper and im vey disappoint for the fees you pay to stay should be a lot cleaner than this. ALSO FOUND OLD CHEESE IN the fridg...I just hope you all can clean more with the hair in the bathroom thats disgusting from a housekeeper to a housekeeper they slacking hard
