the rooms are old, our room window blinds were broken and being on the first floor was interesting with people walking by, the ceiling tiles were stained and lighting was low watt-great potential but needs work, but manager did his best racking up a blanket on the window

Motel run down, shabby exterior with many areas needing repair. Room door only a lock on the door handle no deadbolt or a second lock. Room had very worn floor in bedroom, 5 foot crack in bath floor, hair dryer didn’t work. Pool had gray and black ring around the pool- on the 3 inches of tile between the waterline and top of pool. Over charged for a mediocre room

Location was excellent! This time of year not a whole lot of places open. Some business owners didn't seem to care about good or bad comments.

Pool very nice. People very friendly. What did not impress me was the cigarette butts everywhere and Dog poop everywhere, even though we brought our own bags there was plenty of bags provided along the beaches and parks. Some people have no respect for other people's property!

Location, location, location! We could look down on the pool - the sunset was right there - starry sky just off the shore to our west.

Ants in the room and we had no food. They really need to upgrade rooms ceiling tile bad.

The view was beautiful the staff was good. That had good lighting at night so I could walk the dog.

No doubt the pool furniture will be replaced in time as they are in the process of updating

Lovely motel right on sea front with an amazing sunset. Think we must have had an updated room as it was freshly painted and very clean. Bed linen was grey with a small pattern which looked good and was a change from the standard white. Towels were also coloured. Loved the murals which had been painted on the walls The staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely meal at Steamers which the motel recommended good size clean pool Can’t wait to go back

Nothing all great. Could do with a coat of paint but think it's post COVID trade is just picking up. So give them time.

The motel was literally on seafront. Comfortable room, with lots of space, with balcony overlooking sea, (top right in picture room 203). Stunning sunsets on both nights we stayed. Best room in the hotel for views. Great pool, lovely and clean. Lots of swimming aids for non swimmers.

The lock was not secure on the door,curtains would not close all the way...musty and mold caused a respiratory attack for one of our group. We Checked in at 630 and checked out by 10....and 2hrs of that time we went out to dinner....

I DIDN'T like being told I could cancel, then get charged full amount I didn't like the whole atmosphere of this run down motel.

I didn't like anything about the place. I turned ill & needed ti cancel. Front desk said no problem, but since I booked thru booking.com they couldn't cancel. I called booking.com and was told they'd make an exception but needed to speak to motel manager. After several calls & being put on hold, the front desk informed me they were checking with Mgr, & would call me back. Well NO CALL back & NO REFUND! I understand changinga penalty fee but i was quite disappointed about run aroundi was given. The place looked run down. Didn't look like anything was changed or updated in 50 years The whole townn was 2 blocks, very old & run down. I would not even consider staying at this motel if I were you. .

The place has seen better days and needs a revamp. We are not precious about where we stay but the lights kept flickering indicating electrical issues. It was clean but just felt awful sorry. It was expensive for what it was and pool wasn’t working

Mold in the overhead lighting. Need maintenance. Bed not comfortable. Was run down. Nice people. On the water. Not walking distance for older folks. Restaurants were several blocks away. Kitchen was not usable and no dishes. Flatware ect. We enjoyed Cedar Key very much.
