Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe restaraunt was SO expensive and the food was not good. We ate out every day after our first experience. The hotel is understaffed so that was a challenge at times. There needs to be more umbrellas outside by the pool for shade. You can’t get food or drinks by the pool, but you can bring your own. The hotel is still under construction and it is quite an eyesore. Once they finish the hotel and are more experienced I think it will be great.
The size of the room was amazing! A fully stocked kitchen and room for everyone to move around. There was an amazing game room which kept the kids busy and fun for the whole family. The pool and workout room were also nice!

United StatesLimited hot water for showers. With a family of 5 that makes it difficult to get everyone ready for the day. We did not have that problem last year when we stayed. In the doorway to both rooms there is a tack strip where the carpet meets the tile and the nails come through the carpet, so walking barefoot we stepped on the nails a few times and that is an issue with kids. Parking can be limited.
Location. Space and floor plan. Has everything you need.

United StatesThe resort was clean and beautiful from the lobby to the room. The amenities were enough to keep my family entertained for our one night stay. The game room has ping pong tables, pool tables, a shuffleboard, air hockey and multiple TVs (with a PS4 and games available) and plenty of comfortable seating. There is also an arcade on the same floor with a nice selection of older games. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub, a spa and a sauna. You can tell some of the game tables/equipment have seen better days and it would have been nice if the amenities stayed open beyond 10pm (we stayed on a Monday night). We didn’t get a chance to try the onsite bar or restaurant but took advantage of the coffee served in the little market in the lobby. The only downside is the location with construction going on next to it, but when that is finished it will be even better. Service was great and welcoming - the front desk was helpful with all of our questions. Can’t wait to bring family back to enjoy Black Rock.

United StatesWe would have liked more sitting options on the patio.
We loved the very clean spacious living area. Nice big TV's, extremely comfortable bed including the couch bed was also comfortable. The pool was great for the family with the nice umbrella's at the sitting area. The children loved the gameroom and arcade room. Nice gym. We most enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying the weather and watching the deer.

United StatesThe air conditioning came on so loud at night it disturbed sleep. Fix that and all will be terrific.
Food was good and staff was excellent in every way. Special shout out to Oscar at the front desk and Diego in maintenance for helping us out when we got stuck without a ride. The people made the stay great. Loved the game room too.

United StatesI couldn't find where to get ice for the room. I called housekeeping and they brought some. Our accommodation was a trek from the elevator. If you have walking/breathing issues ask for a room closer to the Lobby.
The resort is in a great location outside of the hustle and bustle of Park City but close enough to get there and take a stroll up and down the busy streets of shops and restaurants.

United StatesThe only bit of a bummer was the arcade room. The coin machine wasn't working when we went. We got a few coins out, and then the machine went down.
We loved the room and the front desk even let us check in a little bit early. The view was so so beautiful ♡ the game room was super cool and the pool. The tvs had streaming apps available. Our little getaway was amazing. The coffee in the rooms was great! Starbucks was also a great extra. The restaurant was so delicious, a bit pricey for what im used to but delicious. We enjoyed the black rock burgers, the pizza, the salmon. The waitress was super sweet and genuine. The pool table in the game room was awesome and the air hockey and ping pong tables. My family had a blast.10/10, we would love to stay again when we are in Park City. The lake was so close as well. Black Rock Mountain Resort is a perfect spot! Also has a cool gym my teenager enjoyed. There's a sauna too.

United StatesBlack Rock was beautiful inside and out! It was just 12 minutes outside of Park City. It was surrounded by hills with lots of trees around the property which made it feel remote. The lobby had multiple huge gas fireplaces that made it feel very cozy and inviting. Every space was very clean and modern. The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. The bartender was also very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I appreciate that the hotel is also dog friendly!
