Despite staying on a higher floor, we still couldn't escape the loud street noise below.

The room was spacious and stylish, with tall ceilings, large windows displaying views of the Harold Washington Library, and bespoke wallpaper which detailed the history of the hotel building and Printer's Row. We really appreciated that the room had a microwave in addition to a mini-fridge, both hidden away in a cabinet, so that we could re-heat any leftovers. An umbrella was also offered in the closet to borrow or purchase; this came in handy on a rainy November day! The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. We liked that the hotel was a little removed from the hustle and bustle of The Loop, but still within easy walking distance to many major sites. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Hotel Blake!

Dirt/mold? on the border of the sink and countertop, in a place where it is usually not visible from above. It seems, they wash the sink only in visible places. There is only one shower head, fixed on top. There is no shower on the hose, and it is really necessary, especially in the accessible rooms.

The hotel fully corresponds to the description on the website, good location, very friendly and helpful staff (especially the evening shift).

Everything about our stay at Hotel Blake was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean and the location was handy to public transport and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again.

The location is great for a first visit to Chicago since it is within walking distance to the main attractions and is located close to the blue line that goes to the airport - Chicago O'Hare. The neighborhood was very safe, the room was large and beds were exceptionally comfy. The bathroom was also modern and big. Staff were always helpful. This is a great value for downtown Chicago. We also enjoyed having the ability to store our luggage after checkout, which was free and convenient.

It was a bit of a walk, 25 mins stroll to the centre of Chicago around the river area. Would prefer to be more central next time so for that reason I dont think Id stay here again.

Our bed was a little too firm but that is just a preference thing I think. I would have liked a little softer of a bed. Also, our room was hot and they turn their boiler off so there is no turning the temp down to make cooler. They had to come crack open our 9th floor window with a piece of wood to cool down our room. Interesting option… but it cooked down our room just fine.

Very unique! Loved the ambience of the whole inside. The books and quotes all over the walls and in the room were very neat.

Everything was amazing at Hotel Blake! The front desk and Showtime were the best parts to the hotel; one of the ladies working the front desk was even nice enough to take my birthday pictures! The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfy; I loved the bathroom especially the shower. There is a cafe connected to the hotel that also offers some great breakfast! The hotel was also pretty close to Downtown Chicago; it was walkable in comfy shoes. I would definitely stay here again for a Chicago trip.

Can't really think of anything without being too picky.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. Always greeted us when we left and returned. That was a nice touch. The room was quite large and comfortable. Location was convenient to the train station and many downtown sites. Would love to stay there again.

There was no view whatsoever - we looked directly out at a huge wall of the next building. It was hard to tell what the weather condition was outside because we could see absolutely nothing except the wall!

Probably one of the prettiest hotel rooms that I've stayed in! Really loved the interior decor. The beds were very comfortable and plush, the room was spacious and the bathroom was lovely, albeit dim as the only light source was the mirror. Staff was friendly in a casual way, which felt nice. Location-wise, a short walk to the metro station, and within walking distance to Target. Generally, it felt safe in the daytime, though I wouldn't recommend coming back too late if you're walking or taking public transport.
