We found out a disadvantage of booking with a third party. We found it necessary to leave before our third night booked because we were called home at the death of my brother. The hotel would have graciously refunded that night with the allotted time notification we gave them the day before, but because we booked through Booking.com, it could not be refunded! This was no fault of the hotel. They were very sympathetic!

It was quiet this time of year! Close to our main event at Sight and Sound Theater. Staff were very friendly, though they were short staffed and that was posted! Breakfast had good variety of hot items!

We rented the valley view room for the night to hold a gathering. It was a great location and setup. The bedrooms were awesome and clean and comfortable. The hallways were in need of a few paint touchups but all in all I would stay there again. Pool was nice. Breakfast was wonderful.

Place was okay. Breakfast was tasty, except there was no coffee and the apple juice was super sweet like a syrup. Rooms were decent. We asked for first floor and rooms next to each other, but we got 3rd floor and rooms close by but not next to each other even though we checked in 30 minutes after check in time. Pool could use cleaning, and there were no clean towels. Value for stay was decent, but I'd go try another hotel next time.

The front desk staff was not available. They stayed in the room, office, behind the desk. If you stood there long enough they would acknowledge you. There was no bell to ring. They were neither friendly or unfriendly. They did the minimum possible to be helpful. The pillows were hard as rocks and very uncomfortable. I had a small kids pillow in the car I had to use. The pool was closed for maintenance an entire day and that was very disappointing. I inquired about the pool months in advance and was told it was open and it was a heated pool. The first day it was a comfortable temperature. The next day it was late opening, we sat around waiting on it because we were already in our swim suits. The water was frigid after that. So my child was able to swim twice out of 4 days. We were disappointed about that.

The property was beautiful and in an excellent location. The breakfast was good. Tanya (the wait staff,) was friendly and very nice to us.

Requested first floor room. Hotel did not provide and the individual checking us in was indifferent. Same individual advised phone service & maintenance available only from 8-4 pm. Out phone was inoperable. No help. We fixed phone without assistance.

The pool/hot tub was NOT adult friendly, too large of step depth for an older person to navigate safely and there were NEVER clean towels available.

The acting GM was rude when I asked for pool towels and room towels. They ran out and had some in the dryer but refused to give me any towels. She insisted that we use ours out of our room, which would leave us without shower towels. I asked for an extra rollout bed, which I never received. Almost ran out of toilet paper. I have stayed here many times, and this is the 1st time that I have had any issues. I am not sure I will use them again.

The room was nice, and the kids love the pool. We like the location and access to the pool. Breakfast was good.

We stayed about 4 years ago for 2 nights while on an anniversary trip, I remembered the hotel as being very nice so I reserved a room there for this trip. I was disappointed to see the hotel falling into disrepair and basic maintenance not being done.

I like the location away from the over crowding of the areas nearer the water.

The bed sheets are too rough. It was hard to move about in the bed because of that much friction with our pajamas and sheers.

Bed too soft and did not sleep well. First day we left 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels on the floor to be picked up by housekeeping for clean ones. When we returned they had left 2 towels and a hand towel but did not replace the wash cloth. It's a good thing husband and I don't mind sharing a washcloth, but shouldn't have had to.

Did not like the breakfast much. No fruit, biscuit stale cold hard. Ate next day at Shoneys. Liked the location-close to where we needed to be. Clean room.
