Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesRecently renovated. The rooms were very nice, great location next to the park. The only gripe is the facility charge . There is very little common space and no breakfast is provided for that charge/.

ChinaThe only thing not that satisfying is from Booking's pictures and what I paid for the room it should have bathtub, however in reality it doesn't. I didn't report this to Booking nor complain at front desk at the time cuz I was too exhausted by long flight from Vegas. So be it. Just reminding if you are a bath person you might wanna double check cuz looks like the hotel only provides bathtub to certain limited room types.
This hotel is mostly great in its convenient location, the famous Bryant Park and New York Public Library are just across from the road (if you are a Sex & City fan you know Carrie and Big had their wedding there lol), walking distance to time square and empire building, not to mention you also have Blue Bottle (nice popular world coffee brand), Zacker's (bagel restaurant), OLE & Le Petit Quo (2 very lovely light green dining offer brunch for jet-lag travelers), Citi Bank (ATM), CVS, Target etc super nearby; I would recommend for sure if you are coming to NYC first time like me - cuz you are gonna head to both uptown and down of Manhattan for lots must-check spots, all the way from the MET to Wall Street - or West Village to East as well, so a cozy, clean, convenient and fine hotel with tasteful decor, nice bed & metro/bus station just downstairs in mid town like this is exactly what you ll need. The employees are friendly and efficient, room has fully-supplied mini bar and fridge, comfy slippers and bath robes, molt brown products and heater in bathroom, no coffee machine/kettle but has free coffee/hot tea & muffin at lobby every morning from 7am - 10am; the hotel itself got 2 restaurants i recall, though not providing all-round breakfast yet you have too many other options outside. Do not miss the Winter Village market in Bryant Park - special winter food booth and exclusive souvenirs, enjoy the vibes and explore this fun neighborhood!

AustraliaI would of loved a kettle in the room but I didn’t ask for one at reception so I can’t complain
I loved the size of the room and the clean modern styling. And it had a bath so with freezing weather conditions that week it came in very handy

United StatesThe lack of a restaurant serving breakfast was a minor detraction. More significantly for us though was that the bar Celon where we met up w friends had a lovely atmosphere but the music did not suit the vibe and was way too loud- an assault on the senses that jarred the atmosphere. We were two of the three tables in the whole place and yet the volume of the music could not be lowered by staff
Location was great. Room was spacious and clean.

United KingdomThe staff were excellent - from arrival, check in and departure. Room was clean, good size and amenities were good. The Koi restaurant was lovely - staff were attentive, food was very good and, as a solo female traveler, I was made to feel welcome which should not be underestimated as some venues are not as kind and welcoming.

United KingdomThere isnt anything to improve its perfect!
The hotel was perfect, the food was exceptional and the staff friendliness and help was second to none. Morning was too much for them to help us with regarding locations, restaurant advice and they even supplied a kettle along won’t milk and sugar at 11pm so me and my wife could make our own tea with our own British tea bags.. honestly couldn’t of wished for a better experience!

United Kingdom- Quite expensive but we did stay here over the festive period so expected high prices. - Room was also on lowest floor. Our view from the window was of a large generator and wall of another building. Generator was quite noisy for sleeping at night too so ask for a room on a higher level.
+ A great central location and good amenities at the hotel. + The room was big, nice and clean. + Staff were very welcoming and helpful. + It was also nice to have free tea, coffee and muffins in the lobby every morning. + The guest access to 24/7 gym was a bonus.
