Rates extremely high for condition of rooms. Smelled musty, ceilings marked with stains and leaks from upper floors. Bathroom floor nasty! Entry door sealed poorly....was a dump!

Found the pillows uncomfortable. Unsure why I received 8 emails shortly after booking all within 15 mins. Because I had no wifi during the journey to hotel I didn’t realise it was self check in. I was sent a code and room number via email to gain access. There was no one on the desk on arrival and I had to wait until someone appeared. It wasn’t until I was given the wifi code that everything became apparent.

Bit concerned on arrival as outside looked a bit unkempt. There was work going on outside. The hotel is combined with the Westerner Hotel and this is on the outside but no mention of the Cactus Inn just two intertwined “C’s”. We went past it and had to double back. The inside of the hotel was a different story and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms open onto indoor space overlooking dining area and pool area. Lots of greenery and plants. Lifts over 3(?) floors. Country and Western music plays in public areas and the rooms are not soundproofed so can be noisy during the day combined with children using pool. Didn’t bother us but if you had to recoup after a long journey I can imagine it could be irritating. Breakfast was excellent with help yourself cereal, toast, yoghurts, waffles etc and a lady served you scrambled eggs, bacon and potatoes. By far the best free breakfast weve had in two weeks. Staff were friendly and the rooms and spaces were clean. Shower was amazing and toiletries were given.

WAS TOLD BY FRONT DESK WE WOULD GET A FULL REFUND TO GO TO A DIFFERENT HOTEL WHEN WE LEFT!! They should had told us the pool was closed and should had advertised it! The kids was upset!! Plus also tried to get a refund to go to a different hotel, after about 1 hour !! And was told they would refund me the full amount of $79 when we left, guess what THEY lied ..ONLY $31 !!!!FOR A REFUND!!! DO NOT STAY HERE , THIS IS NOT A TRUST WORTHY HOTEL!!! THEY WANTED TO SEND US UP THE ROAD TO THEIR SISTER HOTEL TO SWIM, AND ACROSS THE INTERSTATE. FAMILIES DONT WANT THAT AFTER ALL DAY DRIVING WITH KIDS AND ACTED LIKE IT WAS NO BIG DEAL, JUST LOAD UP AND GO UP THE ROAD!! !!!! DIDINT OFFER A DISCOUNT ON THE ROOM OR NOTHING WHEN TRYINGTO CHECK IN, THEN I IMMEDIATELY CAME BACK TO THE FRONT DESK AND ASK TO SWITCH HOTELS..!! WATCH THEM WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD!!!!!! I WILL BE CALLING MY CARD COMPANY !! 😡😡 for fraudulent activity!!!!!

The room was not what you see in the picture on Booking.com it was a completely different room. The hotel was renovating at the time of our stay. The toilet was not in good working condition. It bubbled each time it was flushed. Cracks in the plaster. Feel like we were staying in a dungeon. The door would stick, so to enter the room you had to push really hard to open and close the door.

The pool and other amenities were good. The breakfast which was served each morning was great.

The rooms doors were made of glass and as a young adult that made me slightly uncomfortable. I could also hear people walking around, however considering the price and comfortability of it all I wouldn’t say that those factors are major disappointment. I loved it here.

The water pressure was amazing, bed was heavenly, and the design was so cute and comforting. Plus the staff was super nice and helpful.

provided motel room was very very ugly. We checked in to motel at 3am and the room was not clean at all with many stains on bed, chair and carpet. we asked for a different room but receptionist denied the request quoting that all rooms are booked, which I don't think.

breakfast... good but cheapest of cheap plastic ware. Knife had trouble cutting a waffle as it bend so easily. Outside and lobby look very nice. Rooms are not. Very old furniture in the rooms. The first room booked, smelled like old socks. It took 3 different key cards to let me unlock the door. I transferred to another immediately. Furniture was worn out in both. THe second room looked like someone had busted the door down once. Instead of a card lock, it had a number pad. Very bad repair work done on the door. Really bad repair. I noticed several doors with number locks.

Nothing I didn’t like.

I absolutely LOVED staying here at Cactus Cove! I was on the hotel search there in town and saw that this was a different hotel than just a normal chain and so I had to try it out! I absolutely loved this place, the front desk staff was amazing, breakfast and breakfast attendant was absolutely amazing, room was stunning and facilities were all very nice for an incredible price! 50/10 recommend, seriously.

The bed was a little uncomfortable. The renovation is good for the hotel, but was a little bit of an eyesore.

The price was very good. We enjoyed the Cornhole game and the fountain was very nice.

The room is dark. As it faces out to the main area, you have to close the curtains. It needs more lighting.

Different place. It has lots of indoor entertaining, with all the rooms facing out. It was clean and comfortable. And VERY quiet. I slept well. Nice breakfast.

Every time I made coffee in the room, the electrical strip went off. If the TV was on, it went off when I tried to make coffee. We didn't know the power strip went off, and the frig was off all night and all our items were not cold in the morning. The LED lights behind the bed would not go off and we had to call the desk. She came and took care of it, but it was kind of annoying. We are not upset...another thing they must work through. The shower floor is very slippery, needs those adhesive things that provide traction. They ran completely of butter during the breakfast; not a big deal, just an observation.

This property is under renovation. It will be fantastic once they work out the bugs. We liked that the door opened to the inside of the building. Beautiful indoor pool. Great breakfast. Lovely lighting everywhere. Rooms are spacious. The frig is nice and big. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The breakfast girl was outstanding (it was her first day). Breakfast food is a nice variety and lots of room to sit around and enjoy the meal.

Two nights we were awoken from a dead sleep with the fire alarm. Also, our room was never serviced though we asked twice for it to be done. The carpet was dirty and smelled. They also had pool party's and blocked us from using the pool three times during out stay.

We liked the location. We liked the staff, they were very nice. We loved breakfast and the ladies who worked preparing food. They were both very nice and easy to talk to. The food was great too. I also liked that laundry facilities were available.
