The rooms are minuscule. I had a hard time even finding a place to open my 24 inch suitcase fully. The bathroom is a one person at a time and there’s no other mirror so getting ready is a challenge. The staff is also extremely rude about the towels. I rinsed my face (after taking my makeup off) and got the remnants on a washcloth (and possibly self tanner?). I received a rude note about dirtying the linens and explained I would be charged $60 if it happened again. They are towels. This is a beach. I’m going to get them dirty. I ended up needing to dry my face with toilet paper because I was afraid of this occurring again. My friend and I have sensitive skin and the towelettes they provided to remove makeup are scented so we decided to avoid those as much as possible.

The location is fantastic. The property is two blocks from the beach and walking distance to many attractions.

The hotel has a strong smell. We left the windows open I was ok. The girl from the front desk tried to help us with changing the room but the whole hotel has the same smell.

Room very well appointed. Clean, bathroom updated and modern. Bed very comfortable. Restaurant attached had lovely breakfast and atmosphere. Pool was a relief from the busy streets and beach. An oasis.

The queen room we booked is a bit too small. I would’ve booked a bigger room but it was sold out.

The front desk welcomed us with “welcome home”, that made us instantly felt like home. The room was thoughtfully-designed and well-equipped with even slippers and bathrobes that normal hotels don’t have. My favorite thing was the stones in the shower that you stand on and massages your feet. The bed is comfortable. The hotel is 5 min away from the beach but yet in a quiet location. The courtyard cafe is extremely cute. It feels a lot like a bed and breakfast (B&B) experience.

They only gave water for the first night, considering this was nearly £300 per night. I felt it was a little tight. The wall had 4 picture mirrors, which was great as a feature, but none were at a height for use. The only other mirror was in the bathroom.

Good location as we wanted to be close to the beach and shopping. The staff were helpful, and having access to the beach loungers was great. The room was clean with everything we needed. It's a character property and has an interesting history.

The hotel was amazing! It was in the perfect location, super clean and extremely charming. The staff could not do enough for us and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was really good value for money and delicious. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Miami

Not a problem for us but travelers should no that there is no elevator so if stairs are a problem request a first floor room.

Beautiful property. The room was exceptionally clean and the facility was well maintained. We enjoyed reading near the hot tub and both the pool area and coffee shop had a quiet secret garden feel which we appreciated. We enjoyed the live Jazz on a Friday night and ate one breakfast on the patio which was delicious. Would stay again if I were in the area.

I have 2 small windows in my room and all facing the bar it’s so loud and crowded so I had the windows and curtains all down all the time as if there were no windows at all.

The location was perfect! They also gave us beach towels and had a specific beach area with chairs and umbrellas. It was super relaxing and the staff was the best!

First and foremost, on 2 out of 3 nights we found cockroaches in the room, crawling on our bedside tables/covers. This is unacceptable for a hotel Secondly, the large towels were dirty and could not be used by us. I also have to mention the old windows the hotel has so you will hear the music and all the noise from the surrounding restaurants through, which makes your rest suffer.

Here I can mention the location, which is in South Beach a 5 minute walk from Ocean Drive, near several restaurants and clubs. The staff is very nice and always eager to help you with anything you need. Even though they retain that 100dollars deposit, in our case it was returned in full.

Even if the door of the next fifth room closes, shakes my room inside with a big noise and you hear all the moves in the floor. And the room was very small. I could not find a Space to open my big luggage. The lady in the front desk was like soldier rather than a receptionist. I have just asked for a favour the change my dresses in the room after checked out and declined without thinking twice. It was 13.00 and I have just checked out. I think she could manage it but did not let me to do that which made me really unhappy. She could at least pretend as if helping.

I’ve stayed here many times, however, after Covid it seems that Cadet Hotel has found it necessary to cut costs by eliminating the telephone, beds and pillows that are less than comfortable, dimly lit bathroom with a shelf directly over the sink, the toilet a few inches away from a wall, a hair dryer that barely functions, and no shelves in shower. The staff is wonderful; friendly, helpful. The restaurant was only opened in the morning. I could not figure out how to use the tv, so it was pretty non-existent. Other than that, I love the location and it is quiet and very clean.

Room was not clean, there were some hair on the bathroom wall and dead mosquitos on the wall. There were dust on the ground. There is no shelves on the bathroom to put shampoo, shower gel and nowhere to hang our towels.

Location is very good, and room size is enough and room is cozy, art deco style decorated. Staff was helpful.

There is a bar in the lobby but it wasn't clear if/when it was open. The bathroom has little counter space and the shower does not have a shelf for soaps.

Very quaint and quiet hotel in a great location for Lincoln Lane and the beach. Comfortable room and bed. The pool area is small but there was no one there when I went. I felt like I was the only one there. They give you beach passes that entitle you to chairs and towel, but no umbrella.

It was very nice the staff was helpful and welcoming and when you first walked in it had a beautiful fragrance also the rooms , if you want to stay in a quiet setting this would be perfect and then if you want to enjoy the beach and muisc its literally around the corner .
