Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

There was some sort of maintenance guys in the bathroom next to my room making quite a bit of noise all through the night. With the connected door it was pretty annoying.
Room was nice and clean, and comfortable for the most part.

The hotel reception was locked when I arrived and there was not a single employee on site, so I was unable to check in and had to find another hotel. I tried to call the hotel repeatedly when I was traveling from Albuquerque to Amarillo, but they never answered the phone. I did not notice the 10pm limit on check in when booking, it was not very prominent in the hotel information and should be far more obvious. You need an option to exclude places with no night service/late check in from searches, which I did not see. AWFUL PLACE, I WANT A REFUND AS I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR A ROOM THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE!!!

No alarm clock, or phone book in the room. Could use a take-out and delivery guide (addresses and phone numbers) for nearby restaurants.
I liked the 2 entry/exit access on the ground floor. The staff were great. Good location for eating facilities.

No lights in the room, it was load, I ended up paying more than what it was when I booked it. The Toilet was stopped up

The whole building is outdated, rundown, poorly maintained , everything in the room was so old barely functioning. I don't understand how is this place still in business.
The person at the front desk very nice and helpful, the room was clean and smelled good. There's no many good things to say about this place. Well, it doesn't have bugs that's a plus.

The room was rundown. It started getting cold at night. The cold air was coming through and underneath the doorway. We weren't told that you had to keep the hallway door unlocked if you go outside to your car and want to return to the room. They said it was a "safety feature" but it was more of an inconvenience. Also the magnetic key card only worked inside the hallway and no access from the outside. That may be ok during most conditions but I found it an inconvenience when a person is tired, cold, and wet. The carpet was dirty and old. The inside of hotel rooms need an up-to-date look.
The price and it's location was good.

May couple more washers and dryer there's only one of each maybe a little pasterie for breakfast

This is the third room ive stayed in that even with door closed and locked there is a crack that allows you too see both in and out of the room, to the hallway.
The room was nice and clean.

Room had an odor of urine, bathroom floor sticky, pet relief areas patchy weeds and dirt, area around hotel had an unsafe "shady" atmosphere.
Low price and allowed multiple pets os all sizes.

Not very clean. On the couch had someones bottle of water on top it, the bathroom floors where sticky, bathtub didn't have a stopper and was very discolored. The corners of the room was very dirty like they haven't been cleaned in ages. Was glad it was only one night.

Credit card machine was malfunctioning so I had to pay cash. Hair in sink and onbed sheets. Poor lighting and toliet lid was broke almost causing me to slip off. Room was stinky with bad smoke oder. Door to out side was not very secure. Worse time ever.
