Randy from the front desk is Amazing, he is so friendly and competent. What a pleasure he is and an absolute treasure for your company. the entire front dest team is awesome, definitely top tier customer service. also, I absolutely have to mention Maria from room service, evening shift of the 16 and 17th ,what a Beautiful young lady, so kind and considerate, with a brilliant head on her shoulders. even your grounds man Steve was an absolute joy to speak with. Top Notch Team, for sure.

We didn't want to spend $800 for a room so we took whatever was available at $497 a night. The room was $400 and then $97 worth of fees. We were in the tower which majorly needs an upgrade lake most of the rooms. You could barely open our slider door it was so old. My husband had to use his whole body. The sink in the bathroom wouldn't drain at all. After washing my face at night it took until the morning for the water to go down the drain, it was gross. Everything, just everything is outdated. Elevators old. If I weren't with my husband and by myself, I would have been really creeped out in the hotel room.

The landscaping is just beautiful and the staff was friendly buy not over and above. The best thing about this resort is the location. It is gorgeous and we will come back but it needs a major upgrade.

Staff were very attentive across many areas but a little lacklustre at Moray’s bar for our last dinner. Disappointingly, the staff were a little abrupt with finding a table, taking the order and keen to cash out and move us on - they let the side down.

Everything. Lounge chairs overlooking the bay, luau, brunch buffett, cocktails, beautiful flowers,palms, koi ponds, ambiance of the entire resort. Ocean such close proximity. Spectacular views at nite. Spacious rooms, housekeeping was great. Definitly will return

Our room didn’t have a microwave and we weren’t told we had to ask for one until the last day we were there. There was ants in the doorway and 2 in the bed as well as a hair in the tub. I don’t think they cleaned very well.

The bed was very uncomfortable; I didn’t sleep at all. the humidity made the bedsheets feel damp and the sleeping impossible.

The property itself is beautiful; but the outside parameters is not. The spa was a nice experience. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

The hotel grounds are beautiful. Our room was an excellent size. Love the koi ponds. The food at the restaurants was good. Coffee shop was great. We enjoyed the chairs on the beach with food and drink service as well. Makes for a nice vacation

I absolutely love the Catamaran Resort and Spa!!!! I have stayed here before and it is the perfect location. I did rent a car, but you don't need one. Everything you could want is within walking distance. Pacific Beach is phenomenal, a 2 minute walk, #22 lifeguard station . You're right on the bay, gorgeous views all around. The pool is fun, the water activities are splendid and the food, oh yeah, delicious. They have a luau every Tuesday and Friday, live music too. The resort is lush and tropical. Birds, coy and parrots.. oh my. I'll definitely be back!!

Interior of rooms had not been updated for decades. Carpets were in need of a good steam cleaning. Randomly got charged $20 for A pool towel that we didn't take. They claim to electronically track the pool towels, but obviously that technology needs updating too.

The room was dated, shabby and didn't have the 4 star quality that I expect for the price we paid. Parking was expensive as was the extra resort fee on top of the already expensive room rate.

1) Too many animals in the hotel (ducks, parrots etc), which left their feces everywhere including the pool. Disgusting. 2) the old building that definitely requires renovation, just like the rooms with outdated carpets and furniture 3) inflexibility of the reception staff

Tower only has 2 elevators! Very long waits Dog friendly but no poop bags to use so your property will look beautiful. The rooms seem old

The first full night we stayed, the pool area was quite dirty. Remnants of food everywhere as well as discarded cups in the pool itself. I don't think this speaks to the hotel nor staff, so much as the guests staying and their lack of care for a public space.

Amazing location. Tons of food options and smaller touristy shops, as well as a 7-Eleven and Ralph's grocery within 5-10 minute walk of resort. The beach was also within the same distance, or the hotel opened up on the bay. We opted for the bay most days because it was calm and relaxing and the water in the bay was actually just a tad bit warmer than the ocean. Room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff we interacted with around the property were very friendly.
