Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe breakfast could have been much better. we only had breakfast at the restaurant as it was inclusive in the stay. so can’t comment on how the other meals are but they need to work on everything about their breakfast.
Loved the location! we chose this property as we wanted to live on the viby South Beach & have access to the beach! They provide free beach beds and towels. This is a Travel Sustainable property which I personally appreciate & the property is quite honest about what they provide & what they dont. if travel sustainability is not for you then please live somewhere else. we totally knew what we were getting into. the whole point of living on South Beach is to enjoy the various restaurants & clubs and have access to the beach. The staff is polite & helpful. Overall we had a great stay!

United StatesThe room was located to the back of the hotel which was helpful for avoiding the late night crowd and noise. However, this leaned to a darker, no view room. Just a side of a building with some ambient light. The restaurant located within the hotel is convenient for the free breakfast but I would not suggest eating any other meal there. Our late night arrival forced us to grab something from there: a soggy bland burger and a unremarkable Cesar salad for my daughter. And exhausted and hungry from our long trip I ended up tipping on what already had a built in 20% gratuity. Which ordinarily wouldn’t bug me if food was at least good and I hadn’t asked the front desk guy to bring it up, and restaurant forgot our drinks so had to go back downstairs anyway. So free breakfast is great, but explore for other meals.
The proximity to the beach is fantastic. Unfortunately we arrived at night so we were unaware of how the front changes with the restaurant activity, so ended up walking past the front upon arrival. Eduardo at the front desk was outstanding. Kind and helpful. Room was clean, bathroom very clean. Central to many restaurants nearby, for takeaway or dine in.

United StatesMy first room (106) was freezing and the staff didn't seem to want to do anything about it. At one point, a staff member entered my room, placed cardboard over the vent, but left my door ajar. I was livid. However one staff member named Eddie finally helped me out and moved me to room 105. From there, my stay was perfect (I stayed a total of 5 nights, with the four of them in the better room).
The complimentary breakfast, the cold water in the lobby, friendly staff (especially Eddie), the location, and the price.

DenmarkThe pipe under the sink was leaking, so there was water on the floor. The ice machine was not working, which the staff was aware of, but nothing was done Cleaning could do better, there was some hair from previous guests in the room
You can choose between four different dishes for breakfast, which by the way taste really good. Location is great. Super cozy old hotel

United StatesIt would have been nice to have the option to lounge at a pool. Keep in mind this property doesn't have a pool.
The location on Ocean Drive was very nice because it's in the promenade where no cars are allowed to drive. You're also a little farther from the louder more club like places on Ocean Drive but can easily walk to them. Having breakfast included was very nice considering the price for meals while staying in South Beach. Free lounge chairs for guest at the beach too.

BrazilBathroom "door" is a slide door, and it has gaps on both sides and on the top when in closed position. For a couple, not a big problem, but for more people, there's no real sound privacy.
Big room, big beds, good clean bathroom and nice headshower! Breakfast was a lá carte with 4 options, and they we're pretty good. It's on the north side of Lummus Park, so it's quieter than the middle/south part we're the parties are!

Costa RicaWhile the two-people bedroom is spacious enough, the bed itself isn´t. It is way too small for two people.
The hotel is cozy and beautifully decorated. Service at the front desk is excellent and breakfast was good as well. But nothing beats the location; it is quite convenient.

SerbiaI would start from the room itself. The room was on the high ground floor, without the possibility of opening the windows, and the windows themselves were covered with an opaque film, so it seemed a little claustrophobic. There were no other rooms available, so I had to stay in this unit. I think these rooms should have a lower price than the other rooms because you don't have a window in them. The breakfast was quite modest, compared to breakfast in other hotels around the US. You get a voucher and you have the option of choosing between two options with eggs, one with 3 slices of bacon (small slice) or 3 small sausages, and of course the vegetarian option. I think that a 4* hotel would have to have much better food, and a much larger selection of food. Drinks include coffee or tea.
Location, location and location. The hotel is located across the street from the beach, which is separated by a street, which is mostly closed to traffic, and a park. In the heart of Miami Beach itself, surrounded by beautiful buildings characteristic of the old part of the city. The hotel also has a beach with sunbeds, 10 minutes away from the hotel. Towels and sunbeds with mattresses are available. Unfortunately, umbrellas are an additional $20 per day.

NetherlandsStaff was stressed and grumpy, especially in the morning. Booking.com lists the property with ‘parking available’ - there is no parking… it took me 2 hours to find a spot… the beach access is very poor - the beach is fenced off with only access 100s of meters away
the atmosphere was nice

United KingdomThe room was a good size, simply furnished and perfectly usable for a short break in Miami Beach. However, our room was directly next to the elevator shaft. This resulted in significant disruptive noise every time the elevator was used. Fortunately there wasn't too much activity during night time. As an old building the sound proofing could be better
Great location on Ocean Drive with easy access to the beach and the main shopping on Collins Ave. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included in the price which enables a relaxed start to the day.

United StatesNot the hotel’s fault, but it was spring break and the amount of people in ocean drive was just too much, really scary experience. Also the price per night increased substantially because of it and at that price is not worth it.
The hotel is very pretty, the rooms are comfortable and clean but you can hear noise from the outside, the staff was really nice, the building is old and has a charm on its own, the breakfast is decent though they could have more options. No Pool nor gym.
