Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI wish staff gave more information about the amenities and location of them on site when we arrived. The mezzanine sitting area and water stations were awesome, but we found them by accident.
The property was very clean and the rooms were set up great. The staff were attentive when you needed something. The tub and standing shower in the Beth room were the best! Also, it was in a central location for our needs making it perfect.

BrazilRooms could have a little upgrade in terms of furniture, can make it more cozy, did not like the finishing of the ceiling of the room , bathroom not so good , smell is ok but not wonderful, could be a great hotel and it is a very good hotel, the facilities and size of rooms and sytle is ok, but needs better furniture or finishing , closet very small and looks cheap
Location, check in /out fast / lobby / big rooms / high ceiling / the idea of a hotel that feels like a house

AustraliaThey accidentally forgot we had booked a room clean one day, but Keith was great and swapped our towels out for us straight away and scheduled it in for us the following day. Otherwise everything was perfect
A fantastic hotel in a fantastic location! We stayed for 16 nights and it was extremely comfortable. Walking distance to subways and central park, and so much to do and see around it. The rooms were clean and the coffee machine was a great touch. The shower had the most amazing pressure and puts our home shower to shame. Extremely large room for the middle of Manhattan.

United StatesRoom access is by code and the number pad is hard to see and too low- you practically have to get on your knees to access your room. There is NO phone at the hotel. This became a huge problem when I got to the airport and thought I had left my purse at the hotel. There was no way to call them!!! I had to call the restaurant next door and have them go over and check at the hotel for me.
The location is excellent for walking to shows, restaurants and shopping. The hotel has a sophisticated stylish simplicity. The showers are amazing. The mezzanine is quiet and softly lit- a great place for quiet conversation or relaxation. Rooms have everything you need with extra supplies in a cabinet on the mezzanine. Staff is very helpful- they tracked down a lost purse for me once I was able to get hold of them (see below)

United StatesThere was some construction noise but I believe it is almost over. It would not have been a big deal except we were on west coast time so 8am felt much earlier for us. If you plan to be out and busy during the day it really is not an issue.
Super convenient location in mid-town. Room was comfortable and lobby and common areas were very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall a great stay and I would definitely stay again!

SwitzerlandRight next to the room on the side of our window was a huge construction work. Since it is not the hotels fault, I still think that we had a great stay. They did not work on weekends, it only started to be loud during the week after 7am, which was bothering. Also, another critique would be the very loud and noisy AC in the room and windy, without the possibility to set the fan speed.
I like the concept of Sonder, where you can pick up the things you need for your room (soap, coffee, shower cap etc.) in the lounge and you can always refill your water bottle for free. Also, entering the room with the Sonder app went seamless. Good concept and nice hotel on the Fifth Avenue, very near to the central park. Also, the staff was very kind and always helpful. The rooms were very nice and we felt very comfortable in the amenities.
