We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesI wish there was a manual lock on the inside of the door. Although the doors lock automatically, it still felt unsafe not to have a bolted lock that I could manually do from the inside when sleeping.
I did not have the breakfast and was given no instructions on where the breakfast was. This should be included in the introduction and instructions when arriving. I also did not smell breakfast when leaving in the morning.

SingaporeIt is a little noisy as there are busy roads right outside. The fire alarm went off like clickwork every morning at 10am. I raised this with management but nothing changed. The code I was given did not work on the front door which is a real problem when you arrive at 2am. Heating / cooling system is incomprehensible and not user-friendly

The location was great - 5 minute walk to train/bus station. Place was clean and spacious and the owner/manager was extremely responsive. I let the owner know there was a problem with the bathroom outlet and faucet one evening and the problem was fixed the next day while we were out.

United StatesOur rooms were 2 floors apart, but that may have been due to choosing 2 different layouts of rooms. I was very nervous that the place would be as we expected - # of beds etc. - because there were not pictures off each actual room. Getting 'check-in instructions just 24 hours before is also stressful because we had already started to travel without knowing these details. The automated emails didn't always have all of the details - for example we booked 2 rooms but only got check-in instructions for 1, and we reserved a parking space but needed to reach out to find out if we needed to print out a parking pass before we left. The management company was very responsive to questions, which was great, but would have been even better to not need to ask them.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable, very well maintained, and location was perfect for BU activities. The management company was responsive to questions.

United StatesThe Nest thermostat did not work properly. It was constantly 76-83 degrees in our suite. We could not get the temperature to go down.
