Had to rebook each time I wanted to extend instead of them just extending my booking and each time the rate was higher… offered late checkout until 2 and then asked for a fee. They didn’t try and make a connection or make it look like they valued the guests.. they were super nice but I think that was missing … the connection.

I have never had a better hotel experience start to finish than I did at CitizenM Miami Brickell. The staff were exceptional. I don't know how to describe the room other than "pretty". It was so ambient with different moods, lights, easy to use tech, easy to connect TV and easy to control climate. I downloaded the app to control the room from my phone. Excellent, delicious and intimate food options were literally steps from the front door as well as a 7-11 around the corner. Not that we needed it as the living room area was fully stocked with shower caps, razors, combs and even a handy little sewing kit that I ended up actually needing. The pool was marvelous and the bar staff upstairs were friendly and helpful. The whole place felt like accessible art with a hint of home comfort and an air of upscale minus the snobbery. This place was a gem. I will be staying in future as I'm now a Citizen for life. I have no notes.

Although my overall experience was positive. On my first night, the noise from a nearby nightclub kept me awake all night

Elevators were slow.

CitizenM offers many inviting common areas for working, socializing, relaxing, both indoors and outside. Rooftop bar and pool are comfortable and tidy with great views and pleasant vibes. Rooms are efficient and comfortable, and you'll appreciate their coziness when you retire for the day. They are small and not designed for hanging out. So you'll make new friends or find a quiet corner in the common areas. It's all inviting and relaxed.

This review is hidden because it doesn't meet our guidelines.

Price a little steep but understandable you need to maximize revenue. Air conditioning vent shoyld NOT aim directly at bed, it’s uncomfortable and unhealthy. Aim indirectly, room will be cold but no draft directly on face. Had trouble sleeping because of this and caused overall discomfort.
