Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a slight odorous smell which was mitigated mostly by opening the washroom window. The wall paint, though attractive and done well, could have been enhanced by having a couple of wall hangings or some other art work on the rather stark walls.
Older property recently updated to an attractive style.

There is not a lot of parking.
Clean and comfy. Good heater/air conditioner. Comfy bed and decent television. Listen, this is a motel....not a hotel. This facility, staff etc, would be decent but not impress if you were staying in a nice hotel, BUT for a motel, this was one of the best I've stayed in. Everything worked in the room. Clean, and of course, value. If you want an amazing hotel experience, well double the price and you will get one. For what this is and what it is trying to be, it was great.

I gave the property 8/10 only because the way parking is We arrived later in the evening and at this motel even though it’s an old style motor lodge there is no assigned parking We parked up the street Probably not a problem for most just letting you know

We stayed only for one night as it was a stop during our roadtrip. So we didn't have high expectations, everything was great - it was clean, the staff was super friendly, the room was spacious and need. Nicely renovated and a bit more modern. We are recommending this motel!

Comfortable and clean. What more does one need. If you are passing through Missoula and need a place to stay, I recommend City Center Motel!

Room was small but adequate.
The location was amazing; close to downtown Missoula and the lovely riverfront area. There were many delightful restaurant/brewery options. Also really appreciated the cleanliness!

The air conditioning unit was screeching so loud. It was very late at night when we got back from catching up with friends so we couldn't call anyone. We tried all the functions to try and make it calm down. In the end we had to turn it off and it was just so warm that we did not get a good sleep. We really liked everything else about this hotel and would much rather support local run companies. But it just was not a restful night 😞
This is a lovely motel, well kept and spotless.

Listed as “a boutique motel”. Pics online matched the description which I bragged about to some friends. But the atmosphere didn’t match the pics. Not a big deal.
It didn’t look like the pictures. Would have been better if they had some art work up. The pics didn’t seem to match my room but it was a very good stay nonetheless

The fornt-desk sometimes is empty and you have to wait for the service.

No coffee in room but good coffee served in lobby at 8 AM so not really much of a negative.
Perfect location in downtown Missoula. The interior is completely updated to a high standard, super comfortable and clean- exceptional for a smaller motel like this. Reasonable prices for the location. Friendly staff.

Comfortable room. No elevator. Could use room darkening curtains as our room faced street and streetlight was bright. Also, shower sprays out. Overall though, would stay there again.

Hotel light outside the window. Could be fixed with some blackout blinds. After I got to sleep it wasn’t an issue.
Clean comfy bed with nice sheets. I felt very comfortable in the room. Floors were clean and all the updates to the room were done well. This is an older property, but it is nicely updated. Beats the heck out of a modern box room in a modern hotel built on the edge of town. Downtown Missoula is a very walkable town, and this property is a few blocks from the center. I walked all over downtown, so fun!
