United StatesI paid for a room with a whirlpool tub in it . When we got there and was checked in was told not told that the room we got did not have it. I went back to the front desk and she told me that the whirlpool tub rooms was broken . I said so what are we going to do . She said that I could check out . I told her that we was 3.5 away from home so what was I going to do. They never offered to refund me any of my money back . I know that the room we was in was cheaper than the room I paid for . Not happy at all

United StatesOk, but....over 4 days the room was not cleaned or towels replaced, the kitchen had a broken coffee maker and no silverware, cups, anything. There were trucks in the parking lot running their engines all night. The shower was either scalding hot or all cold, not mixed and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. I felt safe, but it was pretty basic. There were signs of renovation but the pool area was closed, the work out room had some equipment but it wasn't inviting. The building has a lingering scent of tobacco despite being smoke free. I was happy to leave.

United StatesIf I could give it a zero that would have been too much. The hallways were cluttered with garbage, spills on the hallway floor and in the elevator. When I went down in the elevator in morning the same stains were there. The room was old and outdated. The room lamps were rusted at the base and the lamp shade was dusty the knob on the shade was missing. There was no remote for the second room it was missing a battery. The bedroom bed frame rod was protruding from under the box spring, the bed skirt was pushed under the mattress. If there was supposed to be a fire detector in my room it was not there and the wires were hanging from the ceiling. There was no toilet paper holder it was broken and there was no outlet to plug the hairdryer into. Whenever I travel I always bring my own washcloth , so as usual I used my own washcloth on the first morning of my stay. I went out and returned to find my Gray washcloth missing. There was no way it could be any confusion mine was GRAY the hotel’s is white. I don’t have anything nice to say about my stay. It was horrible to say the most. I have taken pictures of everything that I have mentioned. I did leave something out the room door security latch was broken and the replacement was a cup hook. In short they should be refunding me my money for staying in a horrible place. I have stayed in many hotels in my adult life but nothing like this. There are only a few guess everyone else are residents.

This property needs to be renovated and totally refurbished. Need new carpet as it is filthy and smelly. Sheets are old and had stains! Spackle on the walls and not painted. Elevator smelled so bad too.

United StatesThis hotel is horrible. The room wreaked of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The furniture was tore up and the bed sheets were stained. Ended up checking out and getting another room at the Hampton. Will never stay at a Clarion Hotel again. I’ve left a message at the front desk of this location in West Ashley, Charleston SC for the manager to contact me 8 want a refund. My daughter was also approached by a strang man.
