Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It is under reconstruction, which started right above our head at 7:30 in the morning.  That was after we booked a queen room to arrive to hear  they could only give us a double. The bathroom was cleanish and the bed was ok. Breakfast we not good.
It had availability when we got stranded at Detroit airport.

Need grab bars in shower. Shower curtain didn’t contain water as it should have. A/C worked well but noisy.
Location was main reason for our stay. Lobby was inviting and clean. Staff is exceptional, especially Luis at front desk. Breakfast was above average.

I had a two-day stay and I only got a key for one day stay got locked out the room the next day had to call and get a key because he wasn't aware that it was a two-day stay even though it was confirmed not happy with that at all

One teeny-tiny bit of soap - would it break the bank to add a bar of soap - maybe a tad larger - for the tub/shower? And why just one washcloth for two people? I do not share my washcloth with family members at home, and I'm not going to do that just because I'm staying in a hotel. And please, just let the pillows remain unfolded - it's not necessary to line them up in squares, they're pillows for sleeping and one shouldn't have to figure out that they have to be unfolded before trying to get comfortable. And last, the light in the bathroom is really dismal.
Bed was comfortable; breakfast was acceptable. (Attendant was very nice.)

Bathroom shower discusting. Needs to be replaced. People partying in parking lot after midnight. Called front desk and nothing was done about it. Had early flight. Got no sleep

The shuttle took over hour to show at airport. If it was warm, wouldn't of been such an issue, but it was freezing temps

We had spiders in our room, along with eyelashes on the door, tv didn’t work in one of the rooms and not enough washcloths to shower with and not having any available was an upsets

It is very worn down and doesn’t look very clean. The bed pillows were the size of small square throw pillows, my TV did not work and the clock was unplugged. The room and the halls all needed vacuuming. In the hallway it smelled like guests were smoking. The layout is confusing. I couldn’t find my room (upon arrival) or the elevator (upon leaving). It felt a little unsafe b/c it was so worn down. My room door looked like someone hit it with a baseball bat a few times. I would not stay there ever again!

Check-in was very easy. Staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast was also good. The prices were great compared to other hotels in the area raising their cost for a room because of a power outage. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean and also very quiet.

The room was very noisy with street noise, planes flying over and an exit door outside my room being slammed all the time.
