We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesWhen we travel and stay for more than a night, we expect that room services would be provided. We were not informed during check-in that this would not be the case. It wasn't until we read the small circular provided that there would not be any room service. If we wanted towels changed, we were told to put them in the hall way and that did work. We always keep our room quite neat but it's always nice to return from a days adventures to a made-up bed, trash emptied, bathroom cleaned and rug vacuumed. I know that staff is difficult to find these days but the lack of this service didn't seem to show in the daily room rate. From now on, we will inquire if rooms service is offered before we book anywhere.
