We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ArgentinaSuite 6 was dark, small... when opening the curtains, I could see neighbours wall... no heating, just a small device I was afraid of leaving on during all night. Nowhere to hang my clothes, or even place them, nowhere to put my bag, not even the floor as the room was small, no place to put my creams, stuff for bath... Bed was old wood bed, mattress unconfortable. THe door appeared to be built of paper. No extra blankets. About the price it was the same as a good Whyndam hotel 3 blocks away!

United StatesThe only thing I didn’t like it’s the parking situation. It gets hard to look for parking, specially at night. However the place is walking distance to many places and/or Uber is really cheap since the place it’s 5 minutes away from Gaslamp Quarter and other attractions.
it’s a nice, really cozy studio. It works perfectly for a single person or a couple, no more than that.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have a towel bar in the bathroom. A little shelf in the shower. A clock . Maybe papertowels or napkins. Nothing to really complain about. Just suggestions.
I liked the location. It was a few blocks away from the busy downtown. That was a plus for me. It was also a secure place.The room was fresh, nice, cozy, and clean..The decor gave it a nice ambiance. The bed was comfy. The manager Bruce was very kind, courteous, and attentive.. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will recommend it to my friends.

United StatesI absolutely loved the place , it’s beautiful from outside and so cosy and cute inside. Super clean , very quiet , and It has everything what you need, included hair dryer and hair iron . The location was perfect for me , it’s like 15 minutes walk to the ocean, in a very pretty and cosy area. What absolutely amazed me that house keeping team found my AirPods what I accidentally forgot in my bed sheets, taking only case with me. Highly recommend! Great value for the price! Thank you Brian and many thanks to your team 🙏
