Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesPoor service for the most part, especially at breakfast. Felt like they were doing you a favor taking your order or clearing a table. One waitress was very good, but most were quite sour faced. Requested an extra blanket 3 times before it was finally sent. Checkout also wasn’t a very nice experience they were busy doing other things. Feels like they may be understaffed and/or underpaid so they are sour. All in all might come again due to Metro and rooms being nice but will look for other options first. Expected more from such a hotel.
Direct access to metro, large comfortable hotel, large room and nice quality, nice turn down service, accommodating and nice valets. Ana from Marriott Bonvoy was lovely and very helpful.

BrazilThe hotel is very good. Unfortunately, the exchange rate of the real against the dollar (U$1.00 - R$7.00), at the time of our stay, was a little discouraging.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as we thought it was expensive (around US$14.00). On the same street of the hotel, you can have breakfast/lunch and dinner at the Whole Fodds supermarket - 6 min walk, at a cheaper cost - it's worth the trip to the supermarket. The hotel is near a subway station (Crystal City), which made the going to the city's museums much easier. And it's also close to the Pentagon Center shopping mall. I'd do like to thank all employers for the wonderful time we have.

United StatesWhen we arrived we were given a room that was not what I had ordered, but the staff eventually took care of it and switched us. Could not find the hair dryer, but noticed when we left it was tucked away in the closet. The fridge was not very cold, we needed ice packs and had no way to keep them frozen. And one night I was bitten by what I suspect was a spider, had 8 bites on my legs.
Getting to where we needed to go was convenient to the Metro service.

United StatesThere should be a microwave in the room. I needed it for my medication and heat pad and was shocked such a pricey hotel did not have such a courtesy. Finding business meeting rooms was extremely confusing. The worst I have ever encountered.
The location was fine, but the parking garage is very poorly marked. Very hard to figure out how to get out. Signs were tiny and the $45 per day charge outrageous.

United StatesI had to move rooms 3 times before I finally got a allergy free room. The king rooms are small and creepy, there is a hall before entering to room itself. I don’t understand this. Also the Wi-Fi was not included in the room rate, I thought it was per the description of the room. And they don’t tell you until you check out and you see the bill. $12 a day for each person. If you join their club it’s free. Shady. Nothing is included. For a classy hotel it was pretty sad. Not even coffee n the morning. I was getting coffee out of the machine and was rudely informed that it was not free. I knew and was going to pay. But to be so rude. Oh, parking is a whopping $45 a day.
It was clean and maid service everyday which is rare these days. Beds very comfortable. Most of the front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, my son lives right across the street!
