We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

BrazilVery comfortable and spacious room, with a view of the street and Balboa Park. Easy check-in process, and everything was very clean. I was in San Diego for an event at the Convention Center, and I was able to walk there every day, about a 25-minute walk. There is a pharmacy, convenience store and restaurants nearby. Despite being close to the airport, I was not bothered by the noise, and the property provides earplugs. Easy communication with the staff.

Accommodation is very close to Balboa Park and Downtown. Little Italy is also in walkable distance. Due to the landing airplanes above the building free earplugs were provided.

United StatesThis property was a great place to stay in San Diego! It is centrally located, very clean and felt very safe. It had everything we needed and I loved sitting on the balcony watching the planes fly in. (They did provide ear plugs if that is not your jam. 😂) Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay again!

United StatesThere is a problem with trash outside the property due to the homeless population. This is not the property’s fault and we didn’t have any issues, but I know some people will be put off.
For us the location was excellent. We walked to the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, Hillcrest, Balboa Park, and Petco Park for a concert. I liked having the kitchenette for making tea and having cold drinks to enjoy on the patio. The patio was also great! It gave us nice space to hang out. Some might be bothered by the planes but we love them (used to live under the flight path in South Park, so it was like old times). There are tons of restaurants and bars nearby. The Balboa just around the block makes great burgers.

United StatesParking was difficult - typical within central San Diego, but made even more so as the local church restricts a lot of the local spots, and an event along the park road restricted Sunday parking to almost zero availability within the area. Secure parking is available under the building at an extra charge of approx. $30/day. Main road outside is noisy, not helped by the event set-up beginning at 3am Sunday morning. Room was listed as 3 beds, but we were only provided a single top sheet and one comforter to share between the trundle bed and sofa bed.
Clean property, helpful and pleasant staff. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, mugs, etc and kettle. Balcony was a plus as the room itself is quite small, although very noisy to sit outside as you're right under the flight path for the airport (as is much of central San Diego). Wouldn't exactly call it a "great park view" but the balcony does look out onto the very edge of the park.

New ZealandVery enjoyable stay, it was nice to have a balcony and sliding doors to allow fresh air in after staying in hotels and aircon. The room was extremely clean and homely feeling. Owner very friendly offered to help me with my luggage. Comfortable bed and pillows, TV with Netflix etc. So close to airport which made it easy as I had an early flight back to New Zealand. Recommend these apartments and would 100% stay here again! Thank you.

United KingdomStay away from this place at all costs!! I wish I could rate it as ZERO. I was sharing the room with my colleague. On our second night there, my colleague saw the smoke detector mounted to the ceiling directly above her bed being retracted from the ceiling, creating a hole. Then, she saw what looked like a camera being inserted from the same hole. Everything happened very quickly. My colleague screamed and before she knew it, the smoke detector was back in its original position and she did not have a chance to take a picture. Absolutely terrifying that this could happen! Perhaps someone was watching us from upstairs. On that very same night, the access codes we used to enter the building also changed/ stopped working. There were also loud noises upstairs - hammering and furniture moving sounds—for hours in the middle of the night. We called the police immediately after we saw the inserted camera. They inspected the smoke detector in person and confirmed that it was suspicious. A normal detector should not have so much wiring (all written in the police report). A detective is now on the case. We left the studio when the police did that very day. What is very bizarre is that while we left with the police (and never went back), the host is still accusing us of staying in the studio. What is even weirder is that the host did not seem surprised or concerned that this happened to their guests/ customers. They never apologized but instead threatened us for making a false claim. They even had the audacity to ask us to leave a 5-star review. We are shocked and disappointed that we have not been compensated for this traumatic event. What happened was illegal, disgusting, and caused insurmountable distress! I have spoken to lawyers and am ready to take legal action. Don’t let the higher ratings of the other reviews fool you like how it fooled me. This is a new host with few ratings. We do not want anyone to experience what we have gone through.
