Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The receptionist was very off-putting! Argued with EVERYTHING I said. Wouldn't believe me when I said the room was paid. When I showed her, she told me to call my bank.😳 I might have enjoyed my stay if we hadn't had such a confrontation. Terrible service. No real handicapped accommodations either.
The bed was very comfortable.

At check in the staff was not friendly, and was very abrupt on saying the price is what she said, not what Booking. Com says. It ended up only a penny higher then my quote but until knowing that, it was disturbing wondering what "their price" would be. She also made it very clear the price would have been even higher if we didn't book through booking. Com.
Parking right next to room, comfortable beds and pillows. The staff in the morning was very friendly and made sure to invite us in for the breakfast. The other guest were friendly also.

The key entry into the door looked a bit old and was loose on the door, which made it a little difficult to get into the room.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the continental breakfast was good, the shower pressure was great. The location was close to everything.

There were no pillows on the bed. Only 4 small square cushions with a pillow case wrapped around them which was a bit annoying as when you roll over your head rolls off the cushion. Breakfast is now continental only they said they never went back to hot breakfasts after Covid.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the checkin process smooth and the rooms are silent which was amazing. Also a great size room and bathroom continental breakfast was good. nice big waffles.

The breakfast was poor. I was looking forward to a full breakfast with eggs, bacon or sausage. It was the basic starch filled breakfast. We ended up going to Judys across town. There was no good accessibility for our elder mother and disabled sister to get to their rooms effectively. Going up 3 flights of stairs took forever, this was after an accommodation request which I specifically stated my reason. This was not fun.
The cost for my stay was fabulous. A great value which convince me to stay again if I need to. The lobby was clean and presentable and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

Wrinkles in the carpet represent a tripping hazard. Two lights in the room were missing bulbs and fellow at the desk only had 1 bulb, but couldn’t give it to me - he would have to come and put it in. Not being comfortable with having a person I didn’t know in my room after dark I told him to forget it and moved a bulb from another lamp to the one I needed.
Fair - not much choice and the fake butter spread had deflated… the banana was good, but I zipped through Burger King next door because I was so disillusioned by the ‘Daybreak’ breakfast.
