Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDays Inn at Wyndham sent a message with a link the night before my stay which enabled me to pre check in which meant when I arrived I was given my room key straight away, despite arriving ahead of the 3pm check in time. Good room with all the facilities required. Reasonably quiet during the night but road noise from 5:30am. Room in need of a little attention = missing door latch, squeaky bed, loose laminate flooring, no bath plug, TV remote hit/miss. Bed comfortable, decent shower/towels and TV channels quite limited. Once again, accommodation advertised with breakfast but they were not providing breakfast.

United StatesFew electrical outlets, only one side of bed had nightstand and lamp, 3 different lamps (2 old rickety), shower dripped always, had to jiggle toilet to stop running, baseboard rotted away in bathroom. Charged a $100 cash, 10-day refundable fee was not aware of through Booking.com — right after front desk thanked me for having such good customer status and thus free parking.
Location. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Delicious coffee, microwave and other appliances in the room, very good location, luggage storage, simple breakfast box included, huge bed and helpful staff.

United StatesCheck in and check out was not available due to an out of office sign being displayed for extended periods of time. I informed the desk about my arrival window and when I showed up, no one was available and the associate told me to come back when he was off his lunch break to check into the room. It was around 5pm and I was in town for an event.
Good location.

United StatesPlace is dated and old, they do not have enough electrical outlets and none near your bed, young man who registered was nice, the rooms do not have any "do not disturb signs" the cleaning ladies start working around 8am you can hear them since this is an open-air motel style hallway with stone flooring, and they start knocking on doors around 9am and, it is a Motel, and it is not a hotel!
I Didn't have it because they told me it starts at 6am and it finishes at 9am, I woke up around 9am.

United StatesSometimes, particularly early morning/late night the front desk staff places a "will be back shortly" but there is no stated estimate or time, as I was checking out in the morning I wasn't sure how long It would take and it was roughly 10-15 minutes before anyone happened to see me waiting. They did stop what they were doing to help me so I commend them for that. Additionally, the water temperature in the bathroom was not stable it would constantly cycle between warmer than the setting and colder than the setting which was not good because it could get to scalding hot. Finally, The curtain in the main room does not close all the way and you have to choose between keeping the sides of the window open for people to possibly peer into or the center between the two curtains. This is a privacy issue and as it is a room exposed to the outside meaning anyone could walk up the stairs and look at your window I did not appreciate this. additionally the noise from the outside does come into the room quite loud so its not ideal for a meeting space if you planned on virtual meetings from your hotel room.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating when available. The room was very clean and everything seemed to be in order when I arrived. The cleaning staff was respectful and I had no issues with the service they provided.

United StatesSomeone went through my things while we were at the concert then our keys didn't work when we got back, they had to be at back to our room. Nothing was taken but someone was in our room and our things were gone through. Also, it was the 3rd room we were given after checking in, the first was being cleaned, the second wasn't able to be used due to a broken window and then that happened. Barely slept because of it being stressful after seeing that.
The staff was friendly and helpful and actually really real and down to earth.

CanadaParking is narrow and limited (parking starts to fill up after 10PM, you might use your reverse parking skills), rooms are tired and kinda grimy (eg. lots of hair on a chair, lots of wear and tear)
Convenient-ish location downtown and near highways, helpful staff, cheapest room in the area ($350 USD/3 nights over Labour Day weekend), free "entertainment" from the somewhat sketchy happenings in the area (eg. some guy hit and ran a parked vehicle, on another night front desk had to kick somebody out that had somehow gotten access to a room)

GermanyOne of the bedside lamps didn't work, no effort was taken to fix it (we were asked if we wanted to move to another room though). The Wi-Fi was very weak, our devices kept losing the connection. After the first night the TV didn't work anymore (no connection to Wi-Fi?). The "breakfast" (pre-packaged) was weak and every day the same (with only minor variations).
The motel is in walking distance of the Gaslamp Quarter and quite close to Balboa Park & San Diego Zoo (it's not recommended to walk there though, as we did); and only 8 min by car from the airport rental car center. The room was quite big with two king-size beds and quiet. The personnel at reception were friendly and helpful. The deposit was fully refunded (albeit after a week's time and only after we enquired).
