Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesWe loved the fact that we could walk to all historic sites from our hotel. It was just a couple of blocks to the Liberty Bell, Congress Hall, etc., and we felt safe walking there. It was also ideal to have parking right beside the hotel with "in and out" privileges, as we met friends for dinner in a Philadelphia suburb one night during our stay. I also appreciated the additional security to get into the building and the added security to get onto individual floors once you were inside the hotel.

United StatesParking is an extra charge of around $30 per night. The room rate is already expensive so would have liked if parking was included. The bathroom was ok. It was clean so I was content, but nothing fancy as compared to other holiday inn express hotels I've stayed at. I wasn't a fan of the breakfast. I felt it was really limited also compared to the other holiday inn locations. I also experienced a lot of highway noise at night which prevented me from sleeping in addition to the uncomfortable bed.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It was very accessible to the main attractions like the liberty bell and reading terminal market. I was amazed to see how close the location is to the pier - walking distance. The bridge looks beautiful at night, and I enjoyed walking around. The room was very clean and a decent size with a fridge. The staff was also very kind and the interior of the hotel is pretty big, well maintained and beautiful.

United StatesIt was very strange that they asked for a deposit when I checked in. I had already paid my 2 night stay, but they authorized my card for 100 USD. I have travelled a lot, in many places around the world, and this is the first time I experienced something like this. I guess the money will return to my card in a week or so. I didn't like that in the breakfast the plates and the utensils were all single use ones, so everybody was throwing them away when they were done. Why were we creating so much garbage? Also, although the location was good, I didn't feel very safe returning on foot at night and I used taxis.
The room was fine, there was a coffee machine and also some coffee capsules were available. The location was nice and close to the city center.

United StatesThe only pain point is having to pay for parking. Paying $200+ for one night is a lot of money, so the extra $30 fee to be able to park there is a little much. Love this property, so the parking fee is the only downside.
The location to several music venues near Old City is always nice! Having the bridge as a backdrop creates gorgeous views as well.

MalaysiaPromised a wonderful river view by Booking.com but provided with trees and road view by the hotel. We even got free noisy sound of cars from our room on second floor. Brought this issue up to the front desk but no action was taken. Again, the staff "promised" he will check for us but nothing changed.
Comfortable bed, clean room and breakfast.

United StatesThe noise from traffic on the streets. Was nothing hotel had any control over.
Close to places we wanted to visit. Even though we had to pay for parking the lot was close, parked your car yourself and you could go in and out as often as you wanted.

Checking in/out. the location to Lincoln Financial Field. room was clean, view was great, we had a river view. the breakfast was good, bacon and the gravy. I like the use of key card going in/out and into the rooms/elevator.
