Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesUpon arrival, receptionist R. looked at me and asked (yes?). I was bit taken aback because I’m in a hotel and one usually is checking in. After I said as much, she continued by “ID and CC.” There was no human exchange or professional assistance of any kind. This is my fourth hotel in two months and I’ve never had such encounter. The hallways look unkempt and run down. We were woken up at 8:30am by housekeeping crew. They repeatedly knocked for a total of three times!! Obviously they wanted us out way before check out time and frankly, I was glad to leave.
The location was the best part about this hotel.

United StatesWoke up in the night scratchy, bedding was very uncomfortable. stuck us with a $40 breakfast bill for two small plates of fruit from the “buffet”. Would have been good to know as most places offer continental breakfast.. limited breakfast options and very overpriced.
Close to our destination.

United KingdomRUDE member of staff at the reception (Asian looking man, name to be kept private) pulled my credit card physically out of my hand without asking, touching the payment machine, and didn't even tell me the charges before which were higher than my booking total!!! I complained vocally about this behaviour, and then he started lying he had told me fees and deposit to protect his position, which wouldn't help him though if Hilton management checks CCTV, a member of staff is NEVER supposed to pull the card out of the guest's hand, that is utterly awful. When I complained he said 'we are done', basically refused to do my check-in, even though he was the person committing an offence. Needless to say, I didn't attempt to stay there anyways, but just let that behaviour sink in. That guy should be removed from his position same day!

United StatesThis was graduation weekend and the first weekend of the year with temperatures in the 80s. I was in the second floor and the temperature in my room never went below 80. We contacted the desk and they said they sent maintenance up and it was fixed. That night the room still was hot as heck, it was cooler outside. Went back to the desk and we were assured it would be fixed. It was not. Sleeping was very uncomfortable as a result. I expect more from a 3.5 star hotel and for the money we paid I was very disappointed. Also, the hotel does not have coffee throughout the day, though not a deal breaker, it would improve customer satisfaction. Last, the breakfast. When reviewing the hotel before booking it said buffet breakfast or order from menu. It was not free and I was fine with that, but 18.00 for cold eggs, bacon, frozen fried potatoes and oatmeal????? 2.5 star hotels have better options for free. We wanted to order off the menu so, if we were going to pay hotel prices for breakfast, we would at least get what we wanted and it would be fresh. We were told we could not order off the menu, buffet only. Just a horrible experience and I had my mom switch from the Graduate to the Garden Hilton, that was a big mistake as my Dad is 100% disable veteran on oxygen and he can not walk a mile down the street for breakfast. The parking is not convenient for ADA and it is $35 per night and you have to hope to get a spot in the garage. If you have a disability not the best hotel to stay at. I have always had phenomenal experience with Hilton and normally my go to hotel wherever I go and I travel a lot. I do NOT recommend this hotel.
The hotel is in an excellent location near University of Minnesota. The rooms are spacious, I stayed in a junior suite. Beds are comfortable.

United StatesWe paid for parking, but had to park outside 2 of the 3 nights, we were comped the cost, but it was less convenient since I had a sprained ankle. There was no dinner or bar services, which we weren't made aware of until we were there. We were told breakfast would be available, but that wasn't available Saturday or Sunday either.
Room was clean, staff was nice.

United States$30 for parking is pretty stiff. Restaurant/bar/room service were advertised, AND there was a QR code in the room for food. NONE of these things were available. The food/bar option was THE reason I chose to book there. Very disappointed and will not book again. If you don't have certain MAJOR amenities, do not advertise them.
Beautiful place, clean, friendly staff.

United StatesBreakfast was NOT complimentary. It cost $48 for three adults. Saturday night the restaurant lacked a person to run it. Sunday morning the restaurant was closed because someone did not show up to work. Staffing was a disaster on the weekend we were there. Housekeeping did not show up after being called.

United StatesThe day we check in the front office staff was not very pleasant and his instructions regarding parking were misleading. The parking rate in the garage was $30.00 and there were plenty of road side parking but the information provided was no public parking available nearby but only 12 blocks away. We politely asked for nice view room and he sarcastically replied I will give a nice view room on highest level (level 5) close to noisy generator. The same staff gave us a corner room with very noisy end of building hvac vertical duct . We had to request for room change and was given a quieter room. We did not park the car in the garage but was charged $70 first and we had to request correction to charge be made. The first impression left a bad impression even though the other staff were polite to us. We liked the location but won’t stay there again.

United Statesno extra pillows or blankets in room breakfast which was $18 per person, was NOT stocked each day and on Monday morning when we went down to have breakfast it was NOT there. We prepaid for breakfast so essentially you got paid for breakfast on Monday and we got NOTHING! Check out was horrible. I changed my dates of travel and the rate went down because I was staying during week and not weekend. I was told that because I booked through a 3rd party, that there was nothing that could be done about the rate decrease since I changed my dates and that I had to pay the original full rate of my original dates. HORRIBLE to blame on 3rd party, when you choose to partner with them. parking was horrible for a large vehicle and $30 per night was ridiculous!
