Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaThere could be more toiletries in the bathroom. We requested more but they probably forgot, which is no biggie. Also a mini fridge in rooms would be nice and some hook for jackets.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Price was good for what we got. The rooftop terrace is amazing! The bed is extra comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay here again :)

United StatesThe rooftop bar wasn’t open (despite it being advertised as open when I booked back in October as well as in the lobby while I was there), and I booked a king bed (2 travelers) but ended up sharing a queen.
It was nice being so close to TS without actually being ON TS. The rooms and views are nice, as are the staff members.

New ZealandSize of the rooms for travellers that require both beds are ridiculous. No room for 3x suitcases and the bed size is crazy! They are pretty much king singles. My husband and I had the worst sleep of our entire trip as we couldn't move. His feet were off the end! You really need to upgrade the bed sizes (and we aren't big people either)

United Kingdomvery long wait to check in, people queuing around the lobby, lifts would take up to 10/15 sometimes to go through 36 floors, there were only 4 lifts, sometimes they’d have one stuck on a floor cleaning and the other would be shut off to allow people to go up to the roof bar, had our room cleaned on one morning and cleaners didn’t leave any toilet paper in the room, requested it to be brought up as they said I couldn’t come down and get it and that took almost 3 hours.

United KingdomThe reception staff weren't very friendly upon arrival. The Bellman was extremely friendly and helpful when helping us to book a cab home and when he took our bags out to the waiting cab. The room was noisy as it was near the lift. Very frustrating as banging was heard all through the night but the way the rooms are set out I'm not sure you could get away from the noise.
The location was fantastic , very close to Times Square and the Subway , and lots of attractions are within walking distance. We paid for an upgrade for a skyline view, it was well worth the money to get the Manhattan skyline, the room and hotel was spotless . The Highbar was breathtaking. A free water tap to refill your bottles in the reception was great !

United KingdomCheck-in was slow as the hotel was busy. Although the location is good, the street itself was a bit rough and entrance isn't fancy. Fire alarm was set off at 1am (unfortunately on our first and only night, facing jet lag from the UK) and communication was poor given it was a false alarm
Location is useful near Times Square. Room was comfortable and we had a nice view of the Hudson Yards area from the 25th floor. Reasonable value.
