Rooms are tiny and dated, thin walls hear everything. Bathroom had been renovated but the quality was terrible it flooded every time we took a shower.

Rooms were very small and dark. Lighting could have been brighter and hardly any place to walk or put luggage in the room. Check in was also delayed till 4 pm due to room not being ready and crowded counters.

We arrived in NYC at 10:30am and went to drop off our luggage. We arrived back at the hotel at 5pm to check in to be told no room was ready (2 hours post check in time). We went back at 6pm as we had a reservation at 7pm to finally be given a room - very poor first impression.

The location was good and our room was spacious.

Only a few minor things like the shower curtain being too short so the water came out on the floor when we showered. Also would have been nice to have a mini fridge a bit more storage (closet is a bit small).

We had a nice stay at the Doubletree. The location is perfect, very close to Times Square which is really easy to get around walking. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was cleaned everyday, it was on the 16th floor and we didn't hear any noises from outside nor from the neighbouring rooms. Read many comments about the long wait for the elevators but honestly it didn't feel that bad at all, never had to wait more than 5 minutes and only during the "rush hours". Overall we recommend to stay at this hotel :-)

Property was fine crowded and there was no free breakfast as other hiltons and the price the rooms are small it can only do 2 people . But clean and easy access has rooftop that is over rated the bar tender charges whatever she wants like 2 drinks came to $55 on register she told us 65$ .

The breakfast food options were not so much and the rooms were small.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made our stay stress free. The breakfast was also good, tasted amazing but I’d personally appreciate some extra options. The elevator was fast which was good because the building has a lot of floors. The room wasn’t as spacious as I expected but it was clean and had an amazing view.

The heater didn’t work in the room, asked in reception to fix heater. Got sent the engineer to fix it but still nothing all time the room was freezing

The thermostat/ aircon/ heating didn’t work for the last two days we had an engineer and it worked for the next 12 hours but cut off after that. It was very cold in New York the past week so was a bit frustrating

They were a little slow to clean the rooms and sometimes didn’t come around till 4-5pm when you were back in the hotel getting ready for your evening.

The location was brilliant, close to Times Square but not on the Main Street so therefore less hectic. Close to the subway and bus service. Staff were fantastic. Especially Carlos the bell man. He was as good at his job as anyone out there.

The fire alarm went off twice one night and we were told nothing. We inquired and were told someone had been smoking, so why did it go off twice? Just glad we weren’t flying the next day. This was the only glitch and it would have been nice to hear something from Hilton.

There was a problem with the heating during our stay and the room was a bit small.

It’s Very Central, so close to times square and central to everywhere else. The hotel was very clean.
