You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

UkraineExtremely noisy, the building next to my window was parking with huge ventilation blocks - you felt as if you are in the basement of some factory. Luckily, when I asked to change the room - they relocated me to the 14th floor with less noise and much more light. What I didn't like about the breakfast is that I still have to pay tips for breakfast even though it was included in my booking already. Breakfast was OK, but ideally I'd like a bit more like tomatoes, ham, and almond milk at least.

United StatesWhen I booked the room with booking.com, the room was supposed to have a full kitchen with a stove top. But when I checked in, they said that this has been a common problem with the descriptions, not being updated properly, and I had to pay an extra $20 and move all my suitcases and belongings to a different room that had the stove top.
