We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I picked the property for it's advertised amenities and did not get the value for my money that I expected/was promised at time of booking. Eventually, a Manger offered me a free breakfast, but it was after I had already checked out, so they actually offered me nothing.

United StatesGray fuzz came out of the tub jets. The tub was 100% of reason for my room choice & I used it for 10 minutes before I saw the fuzz. When I arrived, 2 staff were at the desk and I stood there without being acknowledged. When I asked if I was supposed to check in with my phone, both staff said "I thought they (the other person) were helping you. Right at $300 for my 1 night stay and definitely not worth it.

United StatesRoom was downgraded due to a previous guest making the room we were supposed to have unusable. That in itself was fine, but being charged the same price for our downgraded room was not. Tried to reach the hotel via a message (desk was busy all in-person times) and had no response. Because desk was busy, at check in we were not offered the cookies or water, and we had nothing about the hotel explained to us: how to get to our room, how to use the elevator key, when breakfast was, where the facilities were... nothing. We had to figure it out for ourselves and it was our first stay there. Specks of something in the ice machine. Ew. And while I appreciated the nice hot bath, weirdly enough we couldn't get any cold water from the bathroom tap. Interactins with the housekeeping staff was nice and polite, and was happy to get some emergency toothbrushes and toothpaste since we forgot ours.

United StatesThe main thing we didn’t like was no free Wi-Fi unless you’re an honors member. Haven’t had to pay for Wi-Fi in a hotel for years. The room was basically clean except for the floor in the bathroom (hair on the floor). The covers on the bed were terrible. Never saw a bed covered with a sheet then comforter and then another sheet on top of that! What was that?? Cheap. The furniture was showing it’s age. Shower had mold marks.
We greatly appreciated the security on the property and garage parking. Towels were very plush. Microwave and fridge were nice but found in most hotel rooms anymore.

United StatesThe facility was adequate. Our problems began when we got home and checked my credit card statement. I discovered that BOOKING.COM had charged my card on 4-28-22. I then discovered that the double tree had charged my card on the date we left. I called and spoke with very helpful and pleasant young man named Kevin and explained what had happened with the billing. He appologized and he said they would fix it. Long story short, they did credit my account but not before BILLING my card two (2) more times. I spoke with SIERRA and she has to be the MOST RUDE customer service person I have ever dealt with and HUNG UP on me 2 times. Bottom line is it took TWO WEEKS for double tree to fix this. Will NEVER stay at a double again!!!!!
