Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesIt could not have been better.
This is a beautiful comfortable hotel. The rooms are comfortable and we had dinner in the restaurant for New Year’s Eve and it was delicious. The chef is amazing. There are parking garages right around the corner that are convenient but you need a reservation. It was a fun New Year’s Eve.

We had a wonderful stay at Conrad New York Downtown. The facilities were great, and the room is clean and the spacious rooms made it especially comfortable. It’s a fantastic choice for families with kids, offering plenty of space to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

United KingdomThe filtered water dispenser in the room runs with a small Raspberry Pi operated touchscreen, which failed every couple of days. To reset, it just needs to be turned off and on again, but there's no accessible switch or socket. An adaptor cable, connected to the back of the dispenser, has to be pulled out and pushed back in again (very simple), but unless you know you've got to call maintenance.
Close to a few food outlets, burger places, coffee shops and the local area felt safe. The subway is a 5-10 minute walk and the area is busy enough with people. Its a short walk to the 9-11 memorial, for example and the Irish Hunger memorial is right outside the front door. Turn down service supplied chocolates every evening and we looked forward to getting back to the Hotel each evening.

SwitzerlandNothing. WE stayed 3 nights and wished we had come there before instead of booking an expensive and badly maintained airbnb.
We had a great room for a small upgrade of USD 30/day. There was a water dispenser in the room (filtered water). The staff would make the beds everyday. The shower was one of the best. everything was very modern, new and functional.

United KingdomThe carpet under the foldout bed was not clean in either room and we even found a child’s toy from a previous guest. Not being able to open or use the fridge was also a large negative
Staff were very thoughtful and the layout of the rooms with the sliding doors was very clever, allowing us to have some privacy within the family

United StatesLike everything about the Conrad Downtown. My wife and I think to try something new and "special," but we are always drawn to the hotel. Five visits in five years. The hotel is walkable to so much. The Oculus is a block away. Ferry dock across the street. The on-site restaurant is extraordinary. There are many handfuls of restaurants within four blocks of the hotel. If you are interested in shopping, there are few better places in Manhattan than Brookfield Place mall. The FiDi area around the hotel is clean, well-lighted, and safe. The entire hotel is maintained beautifully. Nothing out of place; all fabrics looked as new as they did when we first stayed at the Conrad five years ago.
