Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe restaurant was very expensive and the food was very ordinary. The wine was prohibitive. The tea and coffee were dire
I loved the Art Deco features. The breakfast bar was lovely.

United StatesListing said included parking, which it did not! Still had to pay. Also at arrival they offered complimentary wine said would bring to room, then never did. Staff would stare at us every time walking through lobby. A bit uncomfortable, also room was not soundproof like advertised. And pictures looked nothing like the room, marketed as an apartment suite, but was a room with a small room attached.and extremely small bathroom! Was disappointed when arrived, but it fit us all and we made do.
Location, easy to check in and check out. Loved complementary breakfast.

United StatesLocation was great. Breakfast was fine. Preferred carve breakfast vs bond 45. The window in our room was bolted open so there was a 2 inch gap for airflow. Kept room nice and cool in early April air but the noise (12th floor)from the street was super loud. Bathroom is TINY! We had 4 adults in a room and we managed but there wasn't much room to spread out. 1 person in the bathroom at a time. Shower is open so put down towels to catch water. Water pressure was weak but manageable.

United StatesWe asked for connecting rooms since one week before our arrival . They said to check again the day before arrival Called again they said they notified front desk but didn’t give us connecting rooms at the day of arrival . It says breakfast included but has a facility fee of $40 . So basically it’s not free . Same 3-4 items everyday as breakfast options with no variety . They charge $6.50 to sit down at the restaurant to eat if it’s not grab and go We had to pay $1 per bag for the hotel staff to hold on to our luggage till we are ready to leave .
Location ,comfortable beds . Great housekeeping

United StatesFurniture was odd. We had adjoining rooms and one room had a sofa and sofa bed and the other had a desk. Would have been nice to have more options for seating. One of our rooms had a really bad after shave smell that a cleaning person claimed to not smell but we smelled it every time we entered the room. One of our rooms had to have the A/C unit changed out at 1am because it was pouring out hot air when we had it on cool.
The room was nicely updated. The breakfast option at Carve was great! The hotel felt safe and clean. Beds were comfortable.

United KingdomROOM WAS DARK AND SMALL AND AT THE BACK OF THE HOTEL WITH VIEW INTO OTHER HOTEL BEDROOMS ACROSS THE STREET SO CURTAINS HAD TO BE DOWN AT ALL TIMES THE ROOM WAS ROASTING AND AIRLESS AND NO ACCESS TO OPEN ANY WINDOW. THE AIR-CON WAS EXTREMELY NOISEY SO HAD TO TURN IT OFF WHICH MADE THE ROOM VERY HOT. SO NOT A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. IT SAID BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED WHICH WAS NOT NICE AT ALL COLD AND MINIMAL OFFERING AND THEN HAD TO PAY $6.50 EACH PLUS TIP FOR BREAKFAST. THE PRICE SHOWN ON BOOKING.COM WAS MISLEADING AS ONLY AFTER TO TRIED TO BOOK THAT THE PRICE CHANGED DRAMATICALLY BECAUSE OF TAXES. OVERALL DISSAPOINTING AS THIS WS BOOKED AS A SPECIAL TREAT BUT IT WAS FAR FROM IT.
LOCATION WAS GREAT :) NICE ATMOSPHERE AND GOOD CHECK IN LOVELY ATTENTIVE STAFF BED WAS COMFY NICE HAVING BATH AND SHOWER LOVELY CLEAN LINEN AND DRESSING GOWN.

United KingdomThe in room refreshments could have been a little more generous with more variety. The lifts down from our floor left little time to step into. We saw a mother with a baby in a pushchair and a toddler be thrown into panic when her toddler stepped into the lift in front of her and before she could follow, the door closed on the toddler who became immediately distressed. Fortunately a bystander managed to quickly re-open the door so the mother and traumatised child could be reunited. We had to block the door, as it closed on more than one occasion so that all three in our party could board.
Fantastic location and very convenient for our needs. We enjoyed having the flexibility of a full breakfast in Friedman's additional to the hotel voucher. Bond 45 is also excellent. No grab and go for us but a superb afternoon tea with dessert. Very special. Our room was clean and well looked after by staff.

FinlandAs a young couple I think we didnt receive the best customer service from hotel workers. No one was mesn to us or anything but I just think they didnt really care of us either. No one opened a door for us eventhough our hands were full with shopping bags etc. Also not all the rooms have a mini bar and we didnt realize that.
Breakfast was good. Gym was small but enough for a weeks trip. Hotel was simple but very clean.

United KingdomWaiting at reception on the sunday night waiting to sort out our room after a 10 hour journey. Not many staff on. We were put in a sub standard room for the first night as a refurbished room was not available until the following night. This meant we had no room to use on the following day until after 3pm. We were told by the hotel they would knock off the facilities charges for that day off our bill but they didn't.
Location was excellent. Room was lovely although were were a room for three with two double beds, so could have done with a bedside table on both sides.

United KingdomThe fact that I had booked a balcony room and didn’t get it. We were given a really nice suite instead which was great. I discovered that you were not able to open the balcony doors anyway. The main reason I wanted a balcony was to get some air, can’t cope with air conditioning. I couldn’t even open one window in my room even slightly to let some air in. This is the only problem I had with this hotel

United StatesPrice was a bit out of our budget but we splurged. Room did not have a refrigerator or micro. The hotel charges $1 per bag to hold your luggage until check-in. I thought that was unnecessary especially because the cost of the room was expensive.
Location right in the heart of theater district. Our suite with terrace was roomy and comfortable. The housekeeping staff on 17th floor (Lily) was wonderful and really made our stay extra special.
