Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Statesthey need to unclog the sink drain in the bathroom. The water starts rising when your washing your hands even though the drain stopper is lifted.
They have upgraded the mirrors in the bathrooms to remove steam if you press the button on the mirror when you get out of a shower. Also you can change the light concentration of the mirror which is convenient!

CroatiaIt was very crowded, especially during breakfast. We couldn't check in at 2 pm like it said on this site, but had to wait until 3 pm to check in which was annoying
The room was nice and clean, we had a mini kitchen. There were many options for the breakfast. We stayed for one night.

United Kingdomall previous reviews about the elevators are true, I was on the 18th floor and ended up walking down most days (didn’t seem to have any issues waiting with elevators heading up) there were however a couple of times where the elevator didn’t stop at my floor despite pressing the button. I wasn’t too fussed about this as I have no mobility problems so I just stopped at the closest floor and used the stairs. However on 2 occasions, trash bags had been left in the stairwell and I had to climb over them to get to the floor- not quite a luxury experience and definitely not fire escape compliant! although breakfast is provided free of charge, it is chaos in the mornings. no system and people barge in and crowd around certain items. not enough seating so I ended up taking my food back to my room most mornings ( again not ideal when having to climb over trash bags to get there!) selection was generally good though. bathroom was fine- although struggled to get any kind of water pressure and hot water.
location was good (although some characters around, this wasn’t the fault of the hotel- just the area in general!) but plenty of food places nearby, 7/11 on the corner and close to subway stations and tourist attractions. room itself was great, comfortable bed, great kitchen facilities and really liked the full sized fridge. plenty of soft towels given.

Kazakhstan- The area is noisy and not very clean because of the Times Square closeness. - I booked following to my friend recommendation, and she was excited with the rooftop happy hours experience, but now the rooftop is not available for the guests. - The breakfast area should be larger.
- Location is very convenient to explore tourist attractions, closeness to the Times Square has +++ - Happy hours with drinks and snacks were very nice, they are from Monday to Thursdays only, and we were able to enjoy 2 out of 5 days of stay. - Seems that rooms are ideal for people who work remotely: the destop, plugs, chargers and etc. - Staff serving breakfasts and happy hours are very friendly. - It is very helprful to have a kitchenette with all necessary stuff.

NetherlandsThe breakfast was horrible. It wasn't neither a buffet nor a continental breakfast. Disposable utensils in a 4 star hotel is far beyond one's imagination - even if the hotel claims to doing so in order to keep the environment and the well being of the people. Disgusting!!!! On top of it, the receptionist told us it is a buffet with "everything that you would just want"! wow!! We had to resort to going to Starbucks for breakfast during the two mornings! This is a shame of a hotel which claims to be a 4 star hotel. We travel a lot and have not encountered such a "phenome" in any other place!!!!
Room was clean and nice. The shower floor was not flat, therefore there was always a layer of water when we got into the shower: this is not only unpleasant and risky, but also unhygienic (in a 4 star hotel which claims to care for the well-being of people and the environment).

NetherlandsAC in room super noisy. Cleaning only every other day (due to staff shortages). Breakfast was okay-ish (and free) but not super healthy. Lobby of hotel way too small for a hotel with 400 + rooms, always crowded Bit overpriced for the age of the rooms...definitely a bed factory Looked better on the photos
Perfect location, central in Manhattan. Lots of shops and food options nearby. Close to Hudson Yards (Vessel and Highline) Amenities in room were okay. I got a higher room so the view was amazing. Free breakfast, staff are mostly nice

Really good location. You are close to everything, especially Times Square. You are on the 8th and 39th…8th ave seems a little sketchy because of pot shops and homeless people, but did not feel unsafe.
