Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I always stay at embassy suites whenever I come to San Diego. The valet parking is gone. The breakfast wasn’t the same. All the tables were dirty and the food was cold.

The parking lot was very confusing once you go past the 2nd floor as it is only one way, so I got a little nervous.
It was very fast checking in and out. The indoor pool was very nice. Room service was quick. Offering 2 complementary drinks for happy hour and breakfast was great. Giving free fish food in the morning to the kids to feed the fish was amazing.

The room was dated -- there were unrepaired rips in the suite sofa and the room just seemed dark and the carpet really needed an update as there was obvious wear and tear. I was placed next to ice room and there were times you could hear when people were going to get their buckets filled. The bed, however, was very comfortable.
Your breakfast options are always great and this was the same for this hotel. It was very central to an area where there is lots of shopping and a wonderful mall across the street. I did eat at the PF Chang restaurant in the same parking lot to the hotel. It was underwhelming but conveniently close. The check in was great and the staff was very pleasant.

Not charging people stay over 3-5 days so much for parking, should at least have a 10 to 15% discount. That will make the staying even better.
Staff works on the front desk and breakfast area are very helpful and friendly.

It would be better if the hotel provide electric electric kettle and tablewares.
The breakfast was very average, but everything else about the hotel was phenomenal. For the price, I would say the living room is quite big and the connection to the main master bedroom is perfect.

Breakfast too crowded and long lines for the omelette. We were missing plates and utensils almost every day at breakfast time.

I have been staying in this good hotel many times and usually I rent the car from the airport every time. But last time they ask for parking charges which shock me, because this is the first time I hear that I’ve to pay a $40 for parking every night.

Breakfast was a joke! The food would’ve been great, but they did not account for the amount of people that had booked their hotel. So there was not enough food for us at 9 o’clock in the morning.
