The location was out of the town and a taxi is needed to do the transport to and from the township. The lodge is well maintained in a peaceful setting away from Seward. The staff was helpful and provided us with all the necessary information.

The Booking.com listing said the unit had a kitchen, which it does not. And we could not find a way to get any heating system to work. The room with a double bed does not have any doors for privacy, nor does the loft.

Though The Loft, or Family Suite was in a metal building, the inside was quite pleasant and well furnished. The restaurant next door is for a nice dinner, but no other meals.

Cold—our fault in that we neglected to turn on heat and when we returned from a long day’s outing, it was 52 in our cabin. We slept in our clothes!

The cabin was ok. Not a lot of room for luggage. The price would be appropriate for a room in the lodge as I assumed would be a lot nicer facilities but seemed a lot for the cabin.

Not many amenities including no soap for the shower.

We were greeted by the manager and her adorable children. The property was clean and had a common area inside and a comfortable front porch. Coffee was on at 5 am every morning.

The cabin needs to be heated or dry out, as there was a faint musty old smell in the room. I kept the door and window open as much as I could to freshen it up. Also the lighting was one high overhead light and one little lamp, with no lighting by the bed, which would have helped. It was pretty dark inside with only one window. It was next to the housekeeping room, and they left brooms and such outside which was unattractive. The grounds and surrounding areas could use some cleaning up to get rid of the junky look.

I stayed in a cabin that gave privacy and quiet, with its own parking spot and surrounding vegetation. It was comfortable and spacious, with a very large bathroom, along with microwave and mini refrigerator. The people were very nice and helpful.

Based on the booking.com description I thought there was a pull out sofa in our suite. But there was not. Good thing we brought an air mattress for the third bed needed for our group. No breakfast included.

Loved the front porch sitting area. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room was very clean. Close to town. Nearby restaurants and coffee shop.
