It was rather old and kind of thrown together. You had to walk through the weeds to get to it.

Staff/hosts were most congenial and concerned about our comfort. From the Booking listing we were a bit surprised at the "suite" finishings. We expected to have more than one chair in the room. Room is large but if term "suite" is promoted we have become accustomed to a separated sitting/working space and usually a couch and or large reading/sitting chair. We were still early in the season and it seemed the site was actively working out some bugs. Shower was good and water hot. A continental breakfast offering would enhance the value proposition,

If you have trouble sleeping when there is noise. The heater cycles on and off. It bothered one of us but not the other. Only negative.

We did not expect to stay in a one-room cabin. It had rained and the parking location had lots of standing water and mud. You could hear road traffic. The shampoo packets in the bathroom were impossible to open by hand.

Conveniently located a few miles outside Seward, there are several hiking trails nearby. Clean and big room, very cimfortable bed. There is not a real breakfast available, but the pastries and muffins provided were very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Queen Bed was against the wall so one person had to crawl out of the far end. A bit tight and Difficult for older folks. Only one person got a side table. Hairdryer needs to be changed out to one that is just a normal type. The dryer in the room was the type that is supposed to be on the wall but it wasn't so you had the wall mount piece hanging into sink while you used it. Very hokie and hard to use as there was no vanity just a small sink. No coffee creamer just alot of sugar and not enough coffee to make more than two small cups. Room could use more than just one tiny window.

The bed was comfortable and the cottage was clean. Good quick hot water. Large bathroom. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker great to have. Nice high ceilings trimmed in wood. Cabin mismatched decor could be upgraded but decent and handy overall. We liked being on the national park road for easy access.

The parking lot needs gravel & blade. It rained whole time we were there & parking lot was nothing but pot holes to drag bottom of car on.

Cabin very clean & quiet. Food at Salmon B ake was very good. Owner very friendly. We had gotten in quit a bit before ck in (4 hrs.), the owner had cabin cleaned early & even called me to let us know!!! 🙂🏚

I did not know sink was in bed area when I booked, that is the only thing I did not like. Prefer sink in bathroom.

Everyone that worked there were so kind and helpful, they really make you feel welcome. great cup of coffee every morning! Location was close to Exit glacier as well as Seward itself while still being off the main road.

Breakfast wasn’t included but there were a few items for purchase, which was fine. A little fire in the fireplace on a rainy day would have been wonderful.

The location was a few miles from town which suited us fine as it was close to the sled dog kennels and some fabulous restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and pleasant staff.
