Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is in need of updating and the bathroom really needed an exhaust fan there was mold growing on the walls above the light bar. The walls in the bathroom need to be redone. The wall paper is coming off. The shower curtains need to be a bit wider so the water stays in the shower. The towel rack is flimsy and needs updating. The pool and hot tub need to be updated for sure.
The staff were great. They were very helpful when our TV was not working they came to assist and figured out that the cable cord was bad and replaced it and all was good. The next morning housekeeping with with us to be sure our TV was working and it was. The bar tender was super sweet and we had a lovely time relaxing with a free drink.

Room and furnishings definitely need updating. Bed skirting is stained (at top near end table). Salt packet on floor between bed and nightstand. Moldy ceiling in shower area. Exhaust fan doesn't work. Carpet looks as if it's been burned by second bed. TV listing in room needs to be updated. Rolling chair in terrible shape. Room a bit dusty. Bar staff was very friendly. Breakfast was great.

It was an older hotel, pool had been off so it was cold, but they made up for it with the cozy family atmosphere
Very cozy, nice staff. Very family feel with free fajitas and drinks while we were there.

My step dad’s shaving bag was gone after the room was cleaned while they were out fishing. He wasn’t saying someone stole it, he just wanted them to look in the garbage and laundry to see if it was knocked off the counter by accident. I don’t believe they looked for him.

Sensor on heater a little off. Set on 60 and still warm . Toilet low so hard to get off of. Faucet handle on sink hard to turn.
Warm room in - weather. Nice size room. Desk attendant very nice upon check out. Bed very comfortable. Fridge worked fine. Hope they enjoy the sprite I forgot to grab. Tap for lights on and off nice feature. Liked plug in on lamp for recharge phone.

Breakfast only lasted until 9 AM. Rooms could really use some updating. Hallways are kinda dreary.
All the staff were great. Even got us an early check in. Concierge light dinners were a true bonus. Tacos one night, ribs and baked beans the next. Both were very tasty and if we had stayed another night-chili dogs 😋

The hot tub was out of order. Also, it was very, very humid when we were there, and they may have just cleaned the carpets, so everything felt damp, and the air conditioner didn’t help reduce the humidity. Otherwise the room was very clean and comfortable.
This is an older motel, which they are renovating. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer great breakfast options. They also offer a really nice light supper, I.e. sloppy joes with potato salad, and two complimentary cocktails six days a week. This was an added treat after a long, hot day on the lake.

The bathroom was very small and not as clean as it should have been. There was a dirty washcloth hanging in the shower stall.
The breakfast was good, with lots of choices. The free cocktails and nachos were a nice bonus! The room was nice and very quiet. The location was perfect for our needs.

Saturday food wasn't very hot, but was way warmer than Sundays selection.
Breakfast on Sunday was not good. Bacon was cold, pancakes were cold.

A recycle box or container in the room would be nice.
The bed was comfortable and it’s also a bonus when you get free breakfast as well as a light supper and 2 free drinks each night.

The front desk clerk was a bit unkempt and short with his answers without a smile or attempt to create any rapport. The carpet in the room looks like it should have been replaced a few years ago and the bathroom walls/ceiling could use some maintenance.
The room was quiet and comfortable. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean.
