Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDecor a bit old fashioned and only very small lounge..however in New York we only needed a comfortable bed and a hot shower as we were out all day
Excellent location ...2 minutes from Grand Central for the Subway.. An easy walk up 5th Avenue to Central Park past St Patrick's, Rockerfeller Centre, Saks etc

United StatesThe elevator had a bit of a wait time and was small, and the wifi wasn't locked, so it wasn't the most secure connection, though nothing bad happened.
They let me check in early, I felt very safe as a solo female traveler, and to my surprise, the room was so quiet! I barely heard any street noise, which is so rare in NYC. They also held my bags for me after I checked out so that I could walk around the city freely before my flight. Also, the location was perfect!

United KingdomRoom was a bit dated. Heating wasn’t working so had electric fan heater, which was noisy & could only be put on for limited time. Bath robes were not in room, had to ask for them & was given one, despite two of us in room. Only given 2 teabags, despite 3 night stay..had to ask for more. Really liked hotel but felt lacking in lots of areas & not what I had previously experienced.
Friendly staff, good location. Previous experience so happy to try again.

Perfect location to the Grand Central Terminal just across the E44 street. It is a 16-minute walk to the Time Square. The staff are very supportive and welcoming 🙏🏻 Thanks for all of them. The room was read early before the normal checking time.

IrelandThe team went above and beyond. They were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The room was spacious, spotless, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and I got a great sleep every night. The hotel is a calm spot in a busy part of the city. Will definitely return!

IrelandRooms where a little dated but very clean.
The staff were amazing and so helpful, especially Brendan, who was very attentive and gave advice and directions. Also, there was a young girl who printed our boarding cards apologies we didn't catch her name. But both were outstanding representatives for the hotel.

United StatesStayed at this hotel years ago, no changes or updates that I saw. The hotel is getting dated and worn. The room was basic/clean/decent and the bed comfort okay. Their attached restaurant is a nice plus.. but their coffee maker was not working during our stay. A nice coffee shop is next door to the hotel. This "Irish" hotel did not have Guinness 0.0 and should. Decent restaurants and bars (plus shopping) in the neighborhood. Excellent location to get around Manhattan with Grand Central across the street very close by. This is a three star hotel at best.
Great location, pleasant staff

United StatesOur shower was brown water and we were unable to shower. Hotel coffee makers were broken according to staff and we had to leave the hotel to find coffee at 6am. Mattress needs to be replaced. Old and sinking in the middle. We have stayed there in the past and had very good experiences. Not up to par this time.
Great value and a very good location for all we did this weekend.

Location of this hotel was so perfect near transport links like grand central. Walking distance of shopping and central park and other attractions like Summit chrysler rockafeller The bed was very comfortable slept like a baby every night. All the staff were very friendly and super attentive to anything we asked. But the Location is the main seller here. Hotel was also very warm and welcoming we had an issue with lights and it was fixed once we came back

GreeceBed mattress was a bit "tired" and curved, not very comfortable. Despite decent floor area size, the ceiling felt a bit low (perhaps on the limit). Air conditioner was super noisy even in the "low" setting (there are only two speeds), and had a very wide on-off range i.e. you get cold (it was mid-November), then it blows hot air for too long and you get very hot, then temperature needs to drop a lot for the heating to come on again so you get cold, and so on. Dinner food was very average, even though breakfast was good. But there is room service which is good. However, there is no fridge in the room.
Convenient location, decent size room and bathroom, very polite and cheerful staff, efficient processes. Good breakfast, quick if need be and very kind staff. Due to being a not very tall building, elevator waiting times were very good. Room was quiet as I had asked, since it was facing walls on both windows - which I accept, can't have it all! However on two afternoons there was a lot of noise and music till 11pm apparently from a nearby roof terrace bar or similar. Everything was functional (except the a/c as per negative points paragraph). Overall I'd say it's an "efficient" hotel for a business stay.

IrelandWe requested a twin room (2 queen beds) which was confirmed in the booking via email with an additional charge of 50 euro a night - however the room was not available - only a small king room with a fold up bed - we eventually got moved to another room the following day - this was all very time consuming & stressful.
Location and most of the staff were professional & welcoming
