We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesMore than six months after the transition of this property from Sheraton Four Points to HI Express, the operation of the hotel is not up to IHG standards. The POS system was down on check-in and a copy of my CC was made for a manual process. Result: not 1, not 2, but 3 authorizations against my card. (Days later, still hanging in there...) Three nights in a row, upon returning to the property, the room card keys had been deactivated. On 2 of 3 mornings, the cook didn't show to work, so no breakfast ready. Since they don't service the rooms daily, guests have to remember to request towels, coffee, etc. But even when requested, none of the items was provided or changed. But the icing on the cake was really the hotel manager, who failed to show one ounce of concern about the guests. She told me that the CC problem would be handled by a FORMER employee who worked out of state on their interface with Freedom Pay. Think about that: A former employee is given credit card details of your customers. Can you imagine the liability that the management company has?

United StatesThe only thing I didn't like was what I found earlier in the morning after I woke up and straightening my mess. When making up my bed, the top bedsheet looked to have someone else's DNA smashed into the fabric and I didn't like what I seen. Just left things as they were and grabbed my luggage. Maybe caught the cleaning staff off guard that day.
Bed was comfortable. Liked the bathroom shower and having plenty of space. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very helpful when I needed any help. i snjoyed my cup of coffee and loved my hot shower. Was a very peaceful night.

Not %100 sure linens had been changed due to sloppiness of beds. very thin walls, upstairs noise kept me awake until 5am!

United StatesThe room and hotel were dirty. There were several hairs in the bathroom and the bathroom counter was clearly not wiped. The bathroom door was hard to shut. There were stains on the floors throughout the hotel and room. Stains on the blinds and walls. I understand it’s not a 5 star hotel but I would expect it to be clean.

United StatesI booked this through Book.com. For some reason, it was difficult to find my reservation, so the waiting after a long drive wasn't appreciated.
This was just an overnight stay on our way to "Up North" Michigan. Staff was friendly. Special mentions to night Manager, Shanique and desk clerk Krichelle at check-in. They were very understanding as they worked hard to trace my reservation. Also special mentions for Ms. E and Mr. T for great customer service at checkout. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was tidy!

United StatesWe called from the airport for a shuttle. After waiting 20 minutes with no shuttle, I called again and was put on hold for another 7 or 8 minutes until finally being told that the driver was on the way. The driver said he had not been told that someone needed a shuttle. In the room, the television did not work -- it said "weak signal-check antenna" or something similar. I went down to the desk and was given the key to another room. Before moving, I went to the other room and tried the TV. Same thing. I went back to the desk, and they sent the maintenance worker to our room. He turned the TV off and on, and got a channel. After he left, I changed the channel. "Weak Signoal" again. We gave up and did without. At breakfast, tthey ran out of hash browns -- or at least no one brought out hash browns when the pan emptied. Also, the cinammon rolls were beginning to go stale and hard. The coffee dispenser also sat empty for 20 minutes while staff gathered at the reception desk to chat.
The physical facilities were fine, as one might expect from a Holiday Inn Express. The shuttle drivers were friendly and accommodating.

United StatesThe 1st night we had 2 towels for four people. The 2nd night we asked for towels and the night person told us he couldn't leave the desk and housekeeping was gone. He did manage to get pool towels for the pool. The 3rd night we specifically asked for 4 towels and came back to a room totally not clean and 2 towels. We never got a trash bag... they never cleaned the garbage cans out. We left with 1/4 roll of toilet paper out of 2 rolls as those weren't changed either. Between housekeeping and the night staff it was not a good experience.
It was a nice room. Breakfast was good.

United Statescharged a deposit , that was not listed on the booking site when I originally made the reservation and paid in advance. front desk staff wasn’t professional , I still have not received my deposit back. the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, the room was dirty with several urine stains on the floor from animals. there was a light out in the restroom, the toilet paper holder fell off of the rack and I called the front desk 3xs; to have it fixed no one ever came up. there was no hot breakfast and the website said that hot breakfast was included but instead there was cereal and Frozen sandwiches, the fruit was old and there wasn’t enough food for all of the guess to eat and I went down stairs at 7am (breakfast started at 6:30am)

United StatesWhere to begin..? The Concierge was rude and condescending. We showed up at 3:20 (which was after our reserved check in time) and he told us there were no rooms available. Finally about 4:15, he told us the cleaning crew had just updated their system and our room was ready. My friends room did not have a fridge and there were weird red paint stains on one wall. The sheets on their bed were also a little damp. We were told we could enjoy a complimentary breakfast in the morning from 6:30-10:30. When we got downstairs at 10:03, we had to scrape the bottom of the containers for food. There were no cinnamon rolls, coffee and the water needed refilled. The staff member was cleaning up and putting everything away before 10:15. He told us he could not get us coffee because it was time to go.
The location was ideal for the reason for the stay. The bed was very comfortable.

United StatesWell, our car got broken into overnight. We came out to a smashed window the next morning and had to cut our trip short because of it. Also, we were told we'd have a fridge in our room, and it didn't so we had food that ended up spoiling.
We were able to check in a little early. Staff was friendly.
