Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaOur room didn´t have a nice view of the surroundings. My night lamp was unuseable and broke again after it had been repaired, and my electricity outlets also didn´t function for a short while. And last, but not least, it took about 2 weeks until I received my $ 150.- damage deposit back - my deposit wasn´t documented at all :-(!
The location was excellent ! ! There were many subway lines nearby, and we could easily reach everything we needed on foot. One thing I really liked was that there was free coffee in the morning untill 10 am :-)!

United StatesThe room was nice, but I did have a few issues. I couldn’t turn on the TV, and the room phone didn’t work, so I had to use my cell phone to call the front desk and let them know the heater wasn’t working. Unfortunately, the heater never worked the way I expected — I couldn’t turn it on manually, and it stayed on auto, which was a bit frustrating. Despite those issues, the space worked out overall, and I was still able to enjoy my trip with my son in this amazing place called New York.
I loved the area — it was easy to get around, with plenty of food options, the 9/11 Memorial, and the ferry all within walking distance. The subway was also easily accessible.

United StatesOur stay was wonderful, everything was great, but the breakfast could have had a bit more variety to improve the experience
Our stay at this hotel was fantastic! Everything was really good – the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had a great experience. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the location couldn’t have been better. We were able to walk to most of the main attractions, and the train station was just a short distance away, allowing us to explore the city easily and as many times as we wanted. Highly recommend!

South AfricaThe hotel is in a prime location, close to the ferry terminal and the metro was a few minutes walk away. Also within waking distance of the WTC. The room was clean and serviced daily. There was not much road noise and for a light sleeper, this was important. Bed was super comfy. We arrived early before check-in and they locked up our baggage so that we could begin exploring the area. Good coffee was on tap which was served in the lobby each morning. No issues with wifi. Will definitely be back

ItalyBreakfast, guys please..... Is served on the restaurant next the hotel, the lady in the breakfast room is very sweet, I don't wanna say anything about her, really. But I can make a list of what was there: Oranges, a weird broth, sausage and burger (not good), yogurt, fries, scrambled eggs, miniature butter croissants, miniature butter pain au chocolate, and eventually some pancakes. Ok, probably for the price we paid the breakfast, that was fair, but please put some more fruit selection and maybe get rid of the fries. Starting the morning with fruit is essential for me,
The hotel is very good, but bare in mind, while we were there there was a renovation, so you'll get there and is gonna be even better (but we paid a very good price) The staff at the reception is very nice and clear, there is an ice machine on the second floor. I don't know why but as Europeans, these things made us laugh, then going around New York we noticed that basically all the water is served with ice (beginning of March). Location is very good, close to the Metro and we felt safe walking late in the evening, There were many places to eat or buy groceries if needed. The bed was very comfy, and the bathroom ok. Coffee for and water for free in the lobby

United Arab EmiratesJust the light in the restaurant - if that can be brighter during breakfast. It gives more life.
Great location. Pretty convenient as it's literally walking distance to most of the tourist spot. We've booked a room with 2 queen beds where we joined it together, just perfect for a family of four - we've got a toddler and an infant with us so really a spacious one. Decent breakfast. Not much of variety to choose from but love how everything was freshly cooked. Thanks to that lady who's in charge in Wuish Kitchen and Bar. I just hope the place is a bit brighter as it's too dim for breakfast.

Austria-There is no fridge in the room -The water tasted a lot like chlorine to the point of not being drinkable and came out of the tap white not clear like usually. They provide two bottles of water each day, which helped, but is not great for the environment, a filter might solve the issue instead.
-The location is great - Storing luggage worked especially well, it was easy and was kept in a safe location -The people working at reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to hand out tea bags if you asked for them, and providing information about nearby restaurants, thank you! Over all you get great value for money and we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay!

BrazilRoom is small, but according to NYC standards. Dark carpeted hotel and room. The main entrance is in a small street, so sometimes, taxi/car transportation will not pick you up or drop you off at the hotel entrance
Comfortable beds (2 full size). Mini-fridge available at request. Close to subway station and to One World. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't give my opinion about it.
