Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo microwave in room, but there was one downstairs, Location in the Asian community…which was fine and safe but had to walk to restaurants 2-3 blocks, had to drive, Uber etc anywhere else…which is at least 30-45 min and costly. The surrounding area looked unsafe but it was very safe! No issues!
Clean, comfortable beds, staff was helpful, free shuttle service to/from airport, 2 miles from chase stadium

United StatesThere was a very unpleasant smell in the hallway on my floor and a very unpleasant chemical smell in my room. Though the room appeared quite clean, it did not smell fresh at all. The odor was a huge turn off. I've stayed in countless hotels all over the country, and for some reason this particular hotel wouldn't allow my coffee and breakfast to be door dash delivered to my room. The hotel also initially refused to bring me the delivery (it was very early morning). After finally agreeing to bring my delivery, they took so long, my coffee and breakfast were cold, and there was no microwave in the room to heat them up. They were understaffed, according to a gentleman at the front desk.
Very comfortable bed and room appeared to be quite clean. But for the off putting odor, this would've been a great room.

United StatesI couldn't find any ice machines near my room or on my room floor.
The receptionist was very kind and friendly. We chatted shortly about the area and how to get back onto the shuttle to get back to the airport in the morning. Checking in was simple and quick. The room was very nice and clean. When I return to NY, I plan on staying at this hotel once again since now I signed up for their membership.

NetherlandsThe information on booking was not accurate because the shuttle service was only for laguardia airport and not jfk. When I booked i was searching for hotels inclusief shuttle to jfk and this came up. We tried calling the hotel no answer. We ended up with taken a taxi to and from jfk airport. I think the information has to be more clear for other geusts that or not familiair whit NYC. Also the tv box kept falling. We called front desk for maintance butt the guy just sticked it back and after half an hour the box fell again. Therefore we could not watch television. The inclusive breakfast: the eggs was not eatable. It had allot of eggshels peaces in the egg. This is dangerous because of salmonella infections. We hope this is not our case.
The room was nice and clean.

United StatesThe description of the property on Booking.com site (as well as the other booking sites) is intentionally misleading - the hotel is listed in a vicinity of JFK airport and advertises a free airport shuttle. IT IS NOT TRUE. The shuttle, in fact, serves only LaGuardia airport, but the hotel fails to mention this detail in its description (the fine print, which is not even referenced, mentions that. But, who would think about reading the fine print, if there is no reference to it!) I only picked this hotel for my overnight stay near the airport because of the shuttle, but ended up paying for the Uber service from/to JFK as much as I paid for my room. The hotel refused to acknowledge its responsibility for making a misleading representation on the booking site and compensate me for my trouble and incurred transportation expenses.
