Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms are outdated, there are no microwaves in the rooms, we had to go into the basement to heat up food, there was no fridge in the 2nd room I stayed in. Very inconvenient, especially when I had food that needed to be stored

Elevator went black when we started to ascend Hall floor was dirty, needed to be vacuumed. This gave a poor impression regarding cleanliness.
Provided transportation to lax. Comfy beds.

Checking in was a hassle they wouldn't even let us stop in the front to unload our bags and then told us it's an extra $50 for parking per night. There's no breakfast everything is an additional charge and the water pressure was terrible in the shower there is no ice machine or vending machines working.

Housekeeping woke us up, knocking on the door around 845 checking if room is occupied. I heard the room next to us got really upset | towels and hand towels are worn out. it was ripping off on the ends of it

Your shuttle buses from LAX need to be marked with the "Four Points", not just the name of the hotel next door that you share the shuttle service with. Our flight landed at LAX at 6:30PM and we didn't arrive to the hotel until after 9:30pm. We did not have a problem finding the area outside the airport to get the shuttle, we went through that event when we left for our vacation. We were also told that your service was down 1 vehicle. We weren't the only people waiting for the shuttle and some folks were EXTREMELY rude to your driver(s). Find a way to be better to your staff so they don't have to be screamed at. The shuttle was over loaded and that's because the driver was feeling alot of pressure. There was an altercation on the shuttle between 2 passengers, but fortunately another passenger called a halt to it. Please, work with your drivers, male and female and make it a better work situation for them.
Staff was very helpful. Comfortable room.

A bit dated. And paid an extra $70 to check in early after a long flight.
Good price and close to LAX with free shuttle. Great for a stopover. Close to a liquor store and restaurants within walking distance.
