Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room we were given was off a corridor that had obviously previously been an open veranda, the window to the room opened into this corridor rather than outside. This gave the room a rather dingy feel. The main restaurant wasn't open, the pool bar wasn't open, the snack bar kept closing.
Convenient location - used facilities during a long layover at LAX instead of sightseeing due to temp incapacity

You have to pay extra for everything. You have to pay for wifi, but the wifi is awful, not secure. Breakfast is also not free but I pay 25 dollars for a really small buffet no so many options. My room was noisy overnight some kinda engine running. Check in time is too late 4pm just take this in consideration.
The hotel has free shutle to the airport.

front desk did not let us know about the breakfast. did not ask us if we wanted a receipt. did not ask us how our stay was. i think charging for parking is a complete rip off. hotel price was already high enough. didn’t have an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. the soap was super tiny. not enough creamers or sugar for the coffee. usually you get a paper telling u about nearest restaurants, who to call for house keeping, what the wifi password is, and the name of the person who cleaned your room etc…
the bed was clean and there was a tv.

The hotel looks very old.The rooms,furniture particularly the carpet are very wary.The staff was friendly.The hotel definitely needs renovation.It is not upto Four Points Sheraton standards.They charge 50$ for the overnight parking which is very high for an airport hotel and yet the parking area looks a bit weird.

The air conditioning in the room worked intermittely leaving me with a humid room.
Hotel is conveniently located next to LAX airport and the 405 freeway. Enjoyed that the hotel had 24 hr convenience store located on site to grab snacks and beverages.

All rooms are beside the corridor so always people walk around and no windows could be opened due to that. The air conditioner is very cold.

The room was a bit outdated and had a bit of a musty/stale smell.

I requested early check-in which was denied. I was told they would text me when it was ready. There was no text, I slept in the lobby for a couple of hours. Then I checked, the room had been ready but no text. The desk person was looking at his and killing time instead of paying attention. A different front desk person finally checked me in

Parking is overpriced for 50$/day. No fridge in the room.

The price. I wouldn't stay for more than one night. I've found better options in LA in the past (e.g. Airbnb) but they were not convenient for a short stay between flights.
We were there for just a few hours, since we arrived in the PM to LAX and had to leave around 4:30 AM for our next flight. We paid around $200 for just those few hours, which in my view it's a lot for just an OK place. But LA is expensive and that was about the best we could find with free shuttle to/from the airport. The room was clean and adecuate, the beds were comfortable. Nothing too fancy but not shabby either. The staff was nice and friendly.

When i went to take a shower in the morning i was not able because the knob of the shower did not work. It was 3 in the morning and i had no time to waste because i has to be at the airport by 4 am.
