NetherlandsThe neighborhood was nothing special. Just a small supermarket down the street. No other shops or restaurants. Subway station nearby with a direct train to Manhattan.
Breakfast was not included, however there was a restaurant on the ground floor where you could choose from the menu. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

The service was really nice and breakfast was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. We only stayed for 2 nights, so we didn't need too much comfort but it was still good to have a clean room to relax after a long day in NY. It's easy to get into town and especially nice to sleep in a quite area without all the noise from the city.

PortugalWhen the night comes the only way to travel is by taxi or Uber. The neighborhood gets too dangerous at that time too walk to the subway. Also our room was super cold since air was flowing to the room from the aircon unit even when it was out..

We want to thank all staff but specially the manager for being helpful and accommodating. Our family was traveling with a senior and 5 young teenagers, it meant a lot to us, we were very grateful! Our family will definitely visit again.

United StatesThe in room lighting is too stark. The lamps need much softer bulbs to take the harshness away. This really was problematic at night when wanting to relax. The furnishings are a bit dated. I do wish there a kettle or two available (at desk) for us tea drinkers. Running hot water through the coffee maker doesn't cut it. TV channel reception and selection wasn't the greatest.
Had an issue when I arrived in NYC, as my expected accommodation fell through. Had stayed in LIC before and found this hotel. I didn't know what to expect, except that it was available for my stay. I was welcomed by friendly staff. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. Restaurant on premises that has very good food from breakfast till dinner, and reasonable for NYC. The view from my room was incredible. All staff were very nice and helpful. Amazing experience all around.

I liked the old Best Western better.
Location very good, staff was friendly, ice machine available, furnishings nice, bathroom and shower nice, coffee machine in room, price decent, lobby fine, restaurants and transportation nearby, (didn't pay extra for breakfast so can not rate), chair and table to eat on, shampoo, conditioner, and body cleaning liquids dispenser in shower area.
